Always the challenge when a game is being developed in the public eye. Especially with a small studio like this do you want them to work on developing the game, or tell us up their work on developing the game? Personally I think its more important for them to actually work on the game. I can be patient.
@evolgrinz the forum doesn't need to be toxic. just because folks have a difference in focus doesn't mean that atmosphere needs to be toxic. I will be whatever we decide to make it. Also I love Star Trek AND Star Wars

sure I totally understand that he is busy and I WANT him to be busy on funding and working on the game. but if your going to be too busy to put together updates (which is ok), them please don't tease us that updates are coming.
just to be clear I would rather he work on the game than write about working on the game 
however we need some new stuffs to talk about as I am getting sick of reading finland and jetah argue about instanced dungeons...

didn't DS already announce they had secured private funding for the game? I don't believe they are entirely reliant on the KS campaign.
as far as being shy about crowdfunding this game, even though I cant actually play the game I fell like the Fractured has already provided the more entertainment value that what I pledged so I have no worries at all.

@Jetah VIP and subscription are different. You CANT play (or cant play everything) if you don't subscribe. You can play everything with VIP but usually you get percs that make playing and advancement easier. basically pay money to replace time in game. They are both recurring charges but they are different. One is mandatory, the other optional.
@dordolio ah the Netherlands... if you aint Dutch you aint much! One of my best gaming friends was from the Netherlands. Ahh Pottenbaker I miss you still. you were a good many.
Hopefully return from (the well deserved) vacation soon and have a spot light ready to drop immediately to get the buzz going in the community again. Traffic on the forums has slowed to a crawl as there is not much new to talk about.
