RE: worth buying
My simple answer is the money i spent to back this project has been more than worth it. Your results may vary.
Only YOU can answer that question and unfortunately only after you have spent the money. For me being able to be a part of the community of supporters of this game, the entertainment value i have received from participating in the forums and interacting the the great community here has been of way more value than the money I spent on the Kickstarter. It has been very cool watching the game develop from the ground up as has been watching the input of the community influence some aspects of the project. You may not enjoy the testing phases (I found out I don't enjoy testing games) and may want to play a finished game right now. If those are not valuable to you than this may not be worth it for you. If however you love the premise of the game, have the money, and can be patient that I like the community here think this game is going to be good and will definitely be worth it. Again you results may vary. If you decide to buy in then I look forward to gaming with you.

RE: What are you reading right now?
@Roccandil said in What are you reading right now?:
I'm currently reading Faith of the Fallen, book #6 in the Sword of Truth fantasy series, and I just finished With Frederick the Great, a Tale of the Seven Years War, a G. A. Henty historical novel.
I love Terry Goodkind! Enjoy
I just started The Way of Kings

Also, Dynamite seems to be breaking that rule with knowledge point books and tomes already. As PeachMcD pointed out.
Except they are not breaking the rule...These kinds of drops are being found only on Legends, and as I said above, it makes more sense of a Boss/Legend type creature to drop that kind of loot.
The Devs can break no rule, they simply alter existing ones or make new ones. To quote Mel Brooks 'Its good to be King".
I find the idea of using KP as a resource fascinating. They obviously have value. You would have to imagine that the price would high. If you wanted to be a stay at home scholar and have someone else get KP for you, where you get your monetary resources to afford them? It adds a whole new layer to the economy. You really could become a broker of knowledge.
I'm not saying that Fractured should do that or even that I necessarily want them to implement such a thing but it is cool to think about. @d3Sync Thanks for the cool idea!

RE: Character Customization
Also for this test your demon is going to be a human, which when i think about it probably accurately captures RL...

RE: Next test phase
@Farlander I was thinking the same thing. At the very least the devs need to release a little news or something as interest appears to be waning somewhat. There are fewer and fewer new members joining (or at least posting in the hello section, and conversations seem to be limited to the same few folks going back and forth. We need a little buzz.

RE: Syndesian town: "the way-lay" *rough name*
so you are building Mos Eisley?

RE: Consul...what?? Finally!
@Xulu Congrats! Welcome to the errr Council I guess

RE: Next test phase
@PeachMcD Actually its not a matter of patience. Its a matter of keeping interest in their product, which we are a funding so some degree. Companies always keep their stakeholders updated on what is going on. DS even has a person whose job it is to do this. Judging by the lack of forum activity and the very few (compared to the past) number of folks saying 'hi' I would say interest in waning. It is puzzling that the devs allow this. Oh well.

RE: Come join me! (Possible free beer)
The alleged 'free beer' will only be true from a certain point of view...

RE: I hope your happy FRACTURED team!!! :)

RE: Next test phase
I know the dev's are hard are work on the game. Personally I am ok that its been a while since they updated us with something. But my concern is that I see waning traffic on the forum and fewer new people checking in on the hello forum (I assume this correlates few new people joining us). I assume this means that community members have given their attention to something else (another game perhaps?) and will forget about Fractured. We definitely need something from the Devs to reengage the existing community and be of interest to new folks.

RE: Feature Spotlight #6 - PvP, Alignment & Crime
awesome job on the update. it was worth the wait. also thanks for addressing the hottest topic amongst the community even though you had planned to cover other information first. always good to see a devs responsive to the community.
I really don't understand why folks that don't care for PVP are baling already. if you play as a beastman (any why wouldn't you ) and are home on Arboreus it sounds like PVP will be avoided totally and also while on Syndesia it sounds like it will be pretty easy to avoid PVP as well... oh well
Cheers and keep 'em coming!
