Well, this build is meant to do good in 1v1 PvP against any opponent, which is why there are so many resistences.
It also helps to get startet with mage for PvE, since you won't die as easily ^^If you want to maximize damage, you would need to spec into PER, for which, you would have to drop a lot of defensive stats. It just does not work for the PvP in this test. Even I have one shot other people (not only mages) with a stun and the three damage spells. You just want to make sure that you are not that person ^^
Everything also changes when you take other gear and enchantments into account. Deficits that you build with your Attribute Points can be worked around with those. If you don't care about Evasion e.g., you could drop DEX and free up those points in the talents. The acid resistance can then be easiy worked around by using Leather Armor pieces made from Forest Troll Leather, or simply using Acid Resistance enchantments.
For PvE, after playing a while, you will probably know what you are going to fight against, and what you need, so you can just select the perfect gear and talents for that, and don't have to worry about it in the character creation. E.g. if you are going to solo the Treant Legend, you want to make sure you have at least a Fire Staff, the Fire Totem and enough health and armor to survive in case he get's to hit you.
And then, group play (PvP or PvE) mostly leads to more specialized character builds anyways. Already in a 2v2 or 3v3 the defensive stats this build offers start to become "useless". If 2 or 3 people get to focus you, when they have enough cc, they will probably destroy you anyways (if they don't have enough cc you can also win 1v2s easily ). And for group PvE you won't have to worry about most of the defensive aspects anymore and can focus on more dps.

Increase Knowledge Points gains, is I guess for the Talent Tree (because for the lv up system of skills there is no point system?)? so we don´t really know much about that as well

You have a recipe and you have materials for a recipe (wood, stone, metal, whatever). So if you e.g. have a longsword recipe, you can craft the item with wood, which will result in a Wooden Longsword, which has specific stats. No matter how often you craft it, it will have the same stats. When you craft the item with stone, you will get a Stone Longsword, which has it´s own stats (will differ from the one crafted with wood). But if you craft 1k stone swords, all of them will have the same stats / attributes.@therippyone said in Intemization system:

Fracture hab ich auch auf "Englisch" gelassen, ist ja im Grunde ein Name, den kann man ja eigentlich nicht übersetzen
Was dann "Great Betrayal" auch zu einem Namen macht, den man wohl nicht übersetzen sollte. Vllt sollte man hier die englischen lassen, und als Fußnote die deutsche Übersetzung hinterlassenDas mit Great Betrayal erinnert mich an "Tenoch climbed down from the colossal Watcher tree with one long, final jump." "colossal Watcher tree" da Watcher groß geschrieben ist, ist es anscheinen ein Name für den Baum, aber es würde auf deutsch übersetzt bedeuten ein kollosaler Baum der als Wachturm fungiert. Übernehm ich nun den Namen oder übersetz ich das ganze auf deutsch?

The first phase is discovery. The second phase is completing tasks. The third phase is studying the skill, which is where study slots come into play. When you've completed enough tasks for a new level of a skill, you use a tome of knowledge to equip it into a study slot and a timer will start. When the timer finishes, the skill is now learned.
Actually, I think it is: Unknown -> tome + time in sudy slot -> Discovered -> can complete tasks to learn and lv up the skill.
Well to stay on the topic, addional study slots seems like a nice to have that one might not even be able to fully use (won´t always have enough skills to discover to fill up the slots).

Increase Knowledge Points gains does not seem like a big advantage either, if it is repeatable sources, then it will just reduce the end - game "grind" a bit I guess

But we don´t know if and with what gear we start, but since you should be able to join your friends from game start, I am guessing we will start with some minimum gear.
And the comparison was made between a veteran, who can´t play und does not know what he is doing, versus a beginner that is mechanically gifted. So all they are saying is "if somebody is bad, and you can outplay them, you are not going to lose just because of the gear difference. You can actually win."
I mean the easiest comparison would be a veteran playing a meele playstyle without any gap closers, and a newbie playing ranged. Does not need too much skill to be able to win that. Does not matter if he has 20% mehr atk, health, def, whatever when he can´t play the game.

I am pretty sure the devs are already pretty packed with content to implementent until release, and even some things for afterwards... Maybe they even have something like this already in mind
While we can fantasize, I wonder if big systems actually have any way into the game

"racist fights between other guilds" Only demons can raid towns, and I think also only human towns?!? Sieges between guilds are always between two guilds of the same planet. So we would already have different guild types for the different planets (not races).

Yeah, a bandit town instead of a normal town, which good aligned people can´t enter / is hostile against. Sounds fun
Now this depends on PvE and PvP to both be present to work... So on Tartaros, a very PvP focused Planet, there will probably only be one guild type? On Arboreos I think it would be the same But for the Human planet, there is a lot we could fantasize about

since "Most bonuses given by an attribute grow exponentially with the score of the attribute" - Feature Spotlight #5, the difference would actually be higher.And... who says that there will be attribute stats on gear? Why would you put stats that define your character on your gear?
Your characters strengths and weaknesses should be decided on character creation and not.. lemme equip this mage gear and easily get 20 int because of it, so I am actually a great mage!
