B2P or F2P?
-
What do you think this game should be?
-
What model will be better?
As for me B2P is much better. Such model provides stronger and better comunity and better gameplay experience.
-
I agree with the buy to play model.
Or F2P with only cosmetic shop and "pay for convenience"
These tend to work
-
B2P is the way
-
Out of those two choices B2P but personally I think subscription works the best as everyone has a spending cap - the sub - so no one can somehow improve the quality of their experience by paying more.
-
I hope it's getting B2P with the possibility to buy cosmetic stuff like armor skins and mounts not faster then the ones you can get ingame.
Please avoid VIP-subscriptions with bonuses (like bonus ressources, shorter craft time, faster researching, longer time on other planets).

The devs have stated they're following a "Buy to Play" business model - buy once then you're good to go forever. So you only ever need to part with cash once if you wish to play the game.
Of course, the "Dynamight Cash," that's been mentioned in the rewards also hints at microtransactions. Presumably this will be for things like skins and whatnot. From the FAQ:
8. What business model will Fractured follow?
Fractured will follow a “buy to play” business model. This means that a single initial purchase will give you permanent access to the game, without any content restriction!

only b2p
-
B2P with a little shop for cosmetic
-
B2P >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
-
B2P with ONLY cosmetics in cash shop. If anything usable will be sold for cash it will most probably destroy the game. And they'll need some bright new ideas how to fight gold sellers.
-
I personally think the B2P system is better, Developer has less incentive to make a ingame store that sells items that may be considered P2W. ESO has a good system with B2P and Subscription to get free Store Coins and all DLC free, but you don't need to have the subscription. SWTOR has a F2P System that completely sucks in that you lose ability to use UI features unless you pay the subscription or buy the features in the store.
-
According to the devs, it will B2P. And impo, B2P is the best choice. It reduces the chances of a P2W cash shop, it also reduces a lot gold and spam bots, and I think that the community of a B2P game is always better than most F2P games ^^
-
B2P is a good one, it will reduce amounts of bots
-
From what I can tell it looks like the game is going B2P with cosmetic shop attachment. This is personally fine with me as you need something upfront as long as the game is not 60$ on release nor 10$ for a single piece of an outfit. If they price it right for both parts I can see it working out well as it will support the devs long term for the more dedicated fans.
-
B2P obvious , F2P is so unbalanced after some months , B2P is easier you just need to pay the game.
-
In my opinion, B2P model is much better than F2P (this model is P2W)... The exception was Black dessert, a B2P game with P2W system
-
B2P is preferred, but I'm hoping there's some sort of limited free to play version that can act as a demo so I can get friends to try it out.
-
B2p or a sub option

@target said in B2P or F2P?:
