Talent Calculator
-
Can we please have a talent calculator like the "path of building" calculator for Path of Exiles so we can start theory crafting asap
-
@Allie All this will be in the future, at the moment it is not a necessary function, as the audience is small and you can count everything yourself.
And you meant the attribute calculator, not the talent calculator. Since at the moment we only know about their existence and about the approximate properties. The talents themselves have not yet been revealed to us.
-
@muker it was a simple request/rhetorical question for the future developmet of the game
-
@Allie Still, this calculator can only be expected under the beta or release, as such a request has already been
-
@Allie If we will get an API, then such services are possible.
But if i remember right, it wasn't planned to have an API.
But who knows, maybe we will get such, but i don't expect it before Beta.
-
I guess someone enthusiastic enough could build a calculator of his own, and place on some website.
However, since game will still get changed, then this person would have to constantly update his calculator as well.
-
It is necessary to clarify 1 IMPORTANT thing-the calculator is not needed.
The game will be builds for classes, they only have to read on the site/forum, since absolutely all skills we can learn.
In the game, the most important role will be played only by attributes, and then the selected talents as additional attributes and buffs. Skills well is a minor part.
-
True, skill calculator isn't needed.
But attribute calculator for races could be useful.
-
@Gothix It can be useful only inside the game when creating a character, nothing more
-
From the explanations of this game.. a talent road map might be a better name for what would be usable: Turn left after blowing up trees with fireball in the Purrtin Mt.side. Once completed head up to the road until you see a three way stop. Go right to Add an ice element by doing cannonballs in to the Humble Glacier lake or keep going straight to add a burn element by retrieving gem stones from the Torkavin lava rivers. Go Left to start on your one handed slash.
-
@Allie
the numbers aren't set and will change.you have to unlock the knowledge.
-
@Trelia Love it!
-
I'm mostly curious as to how will different spells interact with each other. Will there be a complex interactions and how deep deck theory crafting will be possible.
I'm thinking about original TSW here. How much different skills could have impacted one another was really nice.
-
That makes sense
-
@Allie Do not listen that nonsense. Your request would be greatly helpfull to every player and especially to all theorycrafters. Character creation tool/calculator suits perfectly to game like Fractured. I agree with people, that there is not much sense to introduce this too early and during beta makes most sense to me too. Albion Online introduced something similar during final beta test. It helped people a lot to test different builds and even make guides to the community. This would be absolutly fantastic add and I really hope DS will implement something like this later.
-
it'd be more of a wish list than a builder though. as you dont know when you'll unlock a certain skill for your build.
yes it would be nice to have the knowledge tree outside of the game.
