Lich Transformation unlocked!

Liches just have their souls transferred to a phylactery but we don't know what the process for that is in Fractured. In other fantasy it requires some sort of necromancy or other forbidden magic but the devs might have their own ideas for it.

Liches are...whatever Dynamight decides they will be XD
which, in this case, means they can no longer appreciate a good meal XD (because they no longer need to eat)
Seriously, I love all the speculation we've got going on in here - I even joined in myself - but insisting a Lich has to be one way or another, rather than just speculating, or saying what you'd like to see, is going a bit far.

Changing to Lich is like unlocking a new race... Its not an improvement on humans. And not necessarily stronger.
I think Lich might not be able to have as many or maybe as strong tech as human... Sure there is reasons to stay one of the original races.

@xionmuteki Also, since humans are "free," lich may not the only path of evolution for them, though this is purely speculation. However, we do know more species are planned - a lion and crocodile beast-kin have been mentioned by the devs at various points, and it seems likely that the demons will get some similar efforts, if these plans go through at all. Given all that...
but to get that far, we need to make this game a success, so go gather some friends and bring them on over XD
