Yup, I can say I'm a fan. Tennant was an awesome Doctor but I did like Matt Smith too. Capaldi was weird at first but he grew on me quickly. Eccelston wasn't bad but I prefer the other new ones.
Can't wait to see how Whittaker performs

I suspect I don't take the show seriously enough to qualify as a Whovian, but I do enjoy the shows.
Really looking forward to Whittaker's take on the doctor. I've been wanting to see a lady Doctor since I found out that cross-gender regeneration was possible in the case of the Corsair.

I don't mind the new doctor being female. I am just concerned by her acting skills. Wasn't too impressed of her skills from Broadchurch.
And I hate my Netflix. I wanted to rewatch the whole series, but they start from Matt Smith

Has anyone watched the spinoffs? I liked the Torchwood and I would love to see more of Jack and his story. Is the Class any good?

I liked Torchwood as well but couldn't get into the other spinoffs like Sarah Jane Adventures even though I grew up watching it when she was the Doctor's companion. Tom Baker and David Tennant are definitely my favorites. Matt Smith was OK, but I haven't seen any past his time.
