Is the game will be F2P? Is it a sandbox, survival, hack and slash game?

It will be buy2play, and it's a sandbox MMO (please...read FAQ and search a bit before asking ^^ )

@ecset in fact if you kickstarter at "recruit" (20/25 €) the pledge give you the copy of the game (30€ retail price) and acess to beta phase 2 and other thinks... so since you invest on the game you could considere F2P after the pledge

I've always preferred B2P over F2P, since F2P almost always end up with some degree of "pay to win"

Fractured is planned to cost 30€ (~$35 US at time of writing) as a one-time purchase with an optional VIP subscription.

I have to admit that I'm a bit concerned about that. Pay once is obviously best for us but it might eventually not be enough to keep the servers running.

@nightcoder Well, there are which work. Look at PUBG for example, one time buy and still a huge community cannot stop playing it.
New content (mostly skins) create tons of money for them still.
I must admit, I am not interested in that kind of stuff, but I am glad that there are enough people out there willing to pay for a different skin which does not affect any game mechanics.

Fractured has already secured a means of keeping server costs incredibly low.
