There should be 2 slots for Bandage and Food.

There should be 2 slots dedicated for Bandage and Food.
-
Im totally agree

This topic has been discussed already during an AMA. The devs are against adding consumable dedicated slots, having a consumable on the bar should come at the cost of a skill slot, which is why eventually bandages and similar items will be unable to be used from the inventory.

Okay, but with all humility and respect.
The game does not have any kind of stolen food, or rather strong.The devs are on disney, or rather narnia.
-
None of that made any sense. Stolen food? what?
-
@spoletta
Wow, that's not fun! And it doesn't make sense, since a memorized ability isn't something you've got stashed in a pack or a belt somewhere (hence the whole "memorized" mechanic). How would the two even conflict?I think there ought to be a memorized ability bar -and- an inventory bar for consumables.
-
Another point: if the choice is between abilities and consumables, then in PvP abilities will have an advantage, because you can't lose them if you die. Far fewer consumables will be made for PvP, brought to PvP, or lost in PvP, which will negatively impact the economy.
Conversely, if there were a separate hotbar for consumables, you'd be at a disadvantage if you didn't bring -some- consumables into PvP. That would tend to promote crafting, using, and losing more consumables, which can only be a good thing for the economy.
-
@DarthJafo What I meant is:
Space for food and wrap.
There is no food that gives you a buff that is so important and impacts the pvp of the game.
-
off topic but I hope stat buff food will be a thing, every town needs a master chef!
-
All you need is teammate to heal you in time. There are a lot of healing skill solo-target and area. in more find an alchemist to make some debuff/heal potion.
If you encounter a big lady or guy too strong, do the only things to do : run !

Some setups don't require bandages (e.g. casters with stackable self-heal). People can decide to use more of their existing slots for consumables if they want to.. With the new tea's this is sometimes actually a good decision for example to use mana-tea's or anti-poison-tea's.. The limitation of slots allows to create counter-builds for some setups, if ppl in the end have to many free slots for abilities they might get too much flexibility during their fights.

+1 Should have dedicated slots for bandages & food.
