Well if things for an Angel to live on Aboreus are a bit complex, could an Angel atleast live permanently on the human world?
Yes, that is for sure
Maybe some additional Divine Quests for Angels to enlengthen the stay on Aboreus and finally make it permanent?
-
I do hope they decide to let Angels live on Arboreus permanently. I am interested in making an Angel, but if I can't live on Arboreus permanently, I would probably not bother with it.
-
begin as demon. become angel. get skills to rank 3. turn evil! be evil have all the things.
-
is there any method to remove debuff without becoming angel or abominations
-
@tracture I doubt and at the same time I hope not! But I may get you and Devs could add the option to maintain your original skin. This way you can choose if became an angel or stay a demon or if became an abomination or stay a bestman.
-
@Tracture humans can just go evil / good and have almost no (or maybe none at all) debuff on corresponding planet.
@Finland i think noone after finishing a quest to become Angel will want to just stay demon. Not sure how it will be with abomination.
-
@finland Would it not make sense to 'punish' beastmen for their evil deeds by turning them into abominations without leaving them a choice, while the path to redemption for demons turning angels or abominations wishing to return to their home should always be the harder one?
-
@severinus Well your choice is decide wich side you wanna play if good or evil. If you became an Angel or an Abomination means that you have choosen it already. I just suggested to add something to not change the skin cause many players may like to be good players but with a demon skin and vice versa an evil player but without an abomination skin. this to aswer:

races debuffs are a nice design and lorewise choice.
Abomination = Demon -> debuffed on Arboreus like Demons
Angel = Beastman -> debuffed on Tartaros like Beastmen

They already have a choice. They already made the choice to become evil/good and they will need to live with the consequences for that choice.
And it helps in PvP too. If you see a beastman walking to you, you probably won't be too scared. But seeing an abomination walking to you, you instantly know it's evil and you will start running, or preparing to fight.
Other way around for a demon, you will run from it or prepare to fight it, but if it's an angel, you instantly know it's good.

I think and I hope that will be somerhing related to the name plates and not only skinwise. I usually notice the nameplatesbefore the skin so giving different colors and maybe an icon to differentiate the alignment/karma would really good :).

Exactly, they already made their choice by their actions! However, I do not think that both directions of karma are equally fast, although it mainly depends on the choice of actions.
Does anyone know whether committing sacrileges - to purposefully go against the way of your gods as beastmen or humans - to lose karma is possible - countering to possibility to make donations to gain favour with the gods.

I think that's pretty necessary. It's a UI queue to avoid people you can't risk a run in with. On top of that, the devs said that you don't need the world's greatest PC to play and it's top down, so people with lower tier systems might rely on that nameplate/color more because they might be able to see it quicker/moreeasily than if someone has an abomination skin or something.
-
I'd prefer if you were still stuck on whatever planet your original race is stuck on (maybe with some good buffs to planetary transportation), so that there are proper downsides to making such a severe change in lifestyle. So if you become an abomination you have to deal with being hunted all the time by hundreds of zerglings, and if youre an angel you have to deal with a constant onslaught of PvPers. Though that creates the problem of the beastmen preferring to have PvP at a distance, and if a big group of people wanna grief via all becoming abominations and slaughtering the PvEers.
Tho if you make being an angel meaning your home planet is still the demon world, I will totally main that. Probably.

Angel means good alignment. no way to play an evil Angel. Angels will be defuffed like beasts on Tartaros.

Cursed. They will be cursed on Tartaros And I think Babilis should hate Angels more then Beastkin - after all they were his kids that betrayed him.
-
@finland Well of course I wont be evil if i'm an angel. If i'm able to live on Tartaros tho then ill do justice-y things to all the nerds living on there. I've never really enjoyed PKing people who aren't into it, so if im constantly getting messed with actual PvPers that would be awesome.
-
You can still be evil as a Beastkin or good as a demon without turning into an Angel or Abomination right? Prometheus said that becoming one involves a Divine Quest, so all you need to do to keep your appearance/racial attributes is not do the quest. Right?
-
@cinnao nope once you hit evil with beast and good with demons you will be race changed.
-
@finland Isn't that too easy to achieve? I guess it depends on how easy it is to
lose/ gain karma and how much becoming an Angel/Abomination changes gameplay.
-
@cinnao it's easier for beasts became renegade (abominations). Will be tricky for demons became good (Angels).
