Patch Log - v.a.2.4.1d
-
Changes
- The base cost of travelling from harbor to harbor has been decreased by 40%.
- It's now possible to use harbors carrying a cart. Each item inside the cart increases the cost of travel by 3% (so that's a +90% cost with a full wagon).
Bug Fixes
- All harbors are now functional again.
- Wisps in the temple of Heartwood spawn correctly again.
- Moving the currently equipped weapon into a chest no longer leaves a "ghost weapon" attached to the character.
- World map pin tooltips no longer change size when zooming or get crazy large.
- It's no longer possible to start crafting when mounted.
- Equipped but unused shields no longer lose durability in combat.
- Fixed a bug that in rare situations teleported a player back to the last harbor they travelled to.
- Vice-governors are able to add/take gold at the Trading Post again.
-
no mention of wisp fix, still bugged

Very good. Still putting out those fixes quickly.

Grazie Prometheus!

Thanks for the fixes.

Didn't you explicitly state that you wanted to avoid this in order to preserve local economy?
-
Yeah the harbor changes seem a bit odd. Starting to get a bit curious at the directions of some of these changes.
-
Right now fast traveling is needed given the sparse player population and time it takes to trade. Once things like these are fixed, I expect ports to be emergency teleports again.

That would be odd. I wouldn't consider something like that to be part of a patch 'change', at least not without a minor note that the change is temporarily.
Does anybody recall where Prometheus explained that he wanted harbors not to have the ability to transport carts in order to preserve local economy? I searched but couldn't spot it on the forum. Was it in a video? I am sure I recall him saying something like that, but I don't recall where (my stupid brain is getting old )!

@Logain
Its in a video. I forget if its number 2, 3, or 4 prior to this alpha, but definitely a video.
