      Format:
      The tournament will be 1v1. There will be 2 main brackets.

      1. Normal Bracket. Best of 1 until semi finals, then it will be 2 of 3 with resting breaks.
      2. Losers Bracket. Best of 1. Winner of that goes to the semi finals.

      Prizes:

      1. Grand Prize: 82 Coal, 2000 gold, 8 Alloys, and a mystery prize to be revealed at the beginning of the tournament!
      2. Second Prize: 56 Coal, 1000 gold, 4 alloys,
      3. Third Prize: 28 Coal, 2 alloys
      4. Raffle Prize: 30 Coal

      Who Can Enter:

      1. All cities are welcome to attend. If a Coal City member wins, then he is named the winner but the prizes go to the next place. All coal prizes will be delivered to the city of your choice.

      Rules:

      1. We will be using a fresh discord channel for voice. If you haven’t joined it by the time the tournament starts you will not be able to hear announcements. Fighters will be moved to another channel for the duration of their fight.
      2. The fight starts when the both sides are ready, 10 seconds have passed, and the announcer teleports. All of these conditions must be met.
      3. A round is 3 minutes. If they go over that the fight is stopped and the audience will vote who wins.
      4. Bandages are not allowed.
      5. .Anyone disrupting the tournament will be KOS.
      6. No Execute upon death (no full loot dead bodies - otherwise KoS)
      7. Any gear set allowed, any enchants allowed, Weapon switching allowed
      8. If you exit the arena (surrounded by fences) you get disqualified
      9. A no show will result in your opponent winning the round by default.
      10. People will be warned ONCE if they violate the rules and the round will restart with a 5 second handicap for the offender, and then booted if it happens again.

      Location:

      1. We will gather at the Coal City Tavern, Coast of the Southgard Mountains. Check our location on the world map on the official Website!
      2. We have a plot right next to our tavern <1 minute away so no running back and forth involved!
      3. The official Tournament Grounds is the Dunne Arena, a 4x4 square.

      Date:

      1. 18:00 UTC on Saturday 11/28. Sign ups will close 15 mins before the tournament starts. You must arrive at the tavern by the tournament time or risk being disqualified.

    • RE: Durability is depleting WAY too fast + Tanks are getting screwed!

      I agree with this. I feel as though for the current investment and cost of armor, it should not go down so quickly during a fight. Either decrease the cost of getting metal armor and weapons or increase their durability. I prefer the latter.

      @Roccandil I agree. Right now mages and rouges are woefully stun locked and it would lead to that cycle. Maybe have it to a major slow instead. I tested this out with Blectorn as a rouge. He spent around 8 out of every 10 seconds being stunned. That is unacceptable in many aspects.

      Sadly I think banning abilities would hurt the integrity of the tournament. Even if its a broken ability in duels, we are kinda testing the balance in this tournament.

      TBH If it wasn't for the leaderboard, I would've never tried to grind out all the pages. All I need is 60 Talent points and all the warfare builds. But that is some serious dedication. Congrats!

    • Attributes reset (Requested Feature)

      I just wanted to say maybe next alpha that the devs should add a way to reset and redistribute their attributes. I make mistakes when creating my character but I this point I have invested hours upon hours of time grinding KP. I know at the end of the test the characters are reset, but I feel as though maybe having a way to reset attribute points for gold or another resource would be a great idea. After all, you can change your talents and abilities, why should you be limited by your attributes?

      1. Yes, everything within the city borders turns to ruins, best if you a stuck with an afk mayor is take everything that isn't nailed down with you. Mayor elections/firing should be coming next test
      2. I agree, chain has mildly more slashing defence apparently, but full plate has way more piercing and crushing defense. Right now Chain is underpowered
      3. You can choose different regeants to narrow down the possibilities. Right now I can do many T2 enchants narrowed to one option. Other than that pray to rng
      4. Yeah citizens can only use the blacksmith. You could use a public chest and pay with gold, thats what I did to some new players that did not want to join my city
      5. One of the most requested QOL features. Should be coming next test if the devs know what to do.
      6. Another highly requested QOL feature. Quickly unloading the cart into a facility should be common sense, but right now they want to make sure the blacksmith works before trying anything advanced.

      I agree with Fubar. Right now all of these mining cities will probably be ruined in about 3-4 days. Also how will cities pay the upkeep on the first day. Is there a trial period? This getting ridiculous! I would say a farming city/town could potentially support 1-2 mining towns at best.
      And if this is to prevent guilds from spreading out into multiple cities, why is increasing population actually a bad thing.

      For some reason my character cannot login from the character select. My id is 1673. It gives me various reasons such as invalid location or no reason at all.

      The thing is with 20 Str also I deal 100% bonus damage and my strike cooldowns are 5 seconds. I do as much damage as most dps tanks (not including 2handed weapons). The damage cap is way too easy to reach as a warrior but that's another can of worms.

    • CON is way too overpowered for Warriors.

      I am a warrior main, and I was among to first to notice that high-con builds are insanely overpowered. Right now at 27 con with a full set of bronze armor, talents, and enchanted trinkets leads to a 1.2 second block cooldown, a 5 recharge on all warfare "strike" abilities, a 26 second second wind cooldown and a 27% increase in attack speed with frenzy. This needs to be fixed. Right now I propose a lower base cooldown, but a nerfed cooldown reduction based on CON. Literally fights between tanks in pvp can result in stalemates, both of them autohealing faster than they could deal damage. PVE wise, Players can also solo tank for hours against hard legends such as murag with bandages.

      I agree with that idea that str gives bonuses to light melee weapons. Dex could player a better role, but str is also needed to be important for rouges.
      I think also that the attributes could provide a separate damage bonus for it is very easy to reach 100% damage bonus cap.

      But the actual resistance is called Ice Resistance.

      So basically its the same thing and enchantments for ice resistance also resist things that do cold damage?

      I believe they didn't implement into the game for some reason. I agree if they didn't want metal arrows in the game yet, why have the option to craft the heads in the forge?

      It could also be them having an insane evasion stat of 1160 apparently. They can't dodge projectiles like bows and arrows but it evades most physical attacks. I had the inevitable talent which makes every 20 seconds a hit is guaranteed. I got them for like 50 damage before they teleported.
