yeah corpse camping 1 player with 8 in an alpha have to be stopped

@Shivashanti It's actually already planned. However it would be 8 people rolling up on 1 player and instantly killing him. Currently there is no way to damage the health bar when they are on the ground.
That's the nature of Open World PvP. Numbers will be a factor.

@Shivashanti I mean what do you expect of a full loot PvP game? By joining a militia you essentially agree to unprovoked PvP at any moment if encountered by a member of an opposing militia.

I'm fully aware to see that happen at release, sure. But what is the point of that in a early alpha? On a side note i think you should have a logout timer like 20sec or something like that to prevent alt+f4 before a death

@Shivashanti The last part is something I absolutely agree with. I think if you want to finish a player you downed in PvP then you should be able to do it. If you want to help him get up and go on your merry way, have that option. But combat logging is wack.
But about the PvP thing. Firstly there's a currently running competition that awards top performers with keys. Secondly if i understand the system correctly one can't engage in PvP without being a member of a militia, so that would give you an option to avoid getting PKed for all your stuff altogether. Please tell me if I'm mistaken on that last one as I'm unfortunately unable to participate in this test :c

That's totally right, there is just militia pvp in this test. Btw don't take my comment too serious, i just hate corpsse camping in general, but yeah totally agree there should be a finishing cast (like in early albion days) to finish kd players of.

@humerus You're right, so far in this test we have to actively join a militia in order to "flag" for pvp, so those who hate pvp should just stay unflagged. If they flagged for pvp and just alt f4 log then they're just being rude!

@Nekrage definitely, it's really lame. We haven't implemented a proper logout timer yet. We're working on it just now - you'll be able to logout immediately in town / at home, while otherwise there's going to be a 1 minute timer (or even longer).
Also, we're adding a "coup de grace" option to kill players knocked down
We actually wanted to get both in before this test but couldn't make it in time, sorry for that!
