No Damage to enemies uphill
-
When attacking creatures uphill (best spot to recreate is Goblin Hills for me) they will not get hit when standing on a higher ground than the player. This problem seems to exist for melee and ranged physical attacks. Magic of any time does not seem to be affected.

Obi Wan was right! The high ground DOES have advantage!

I think that problem is hitting us, because sides of objects mostly don't prevent shooting through.
While the ground and harvestable things like trees, stones, plants often block Casts&Arrows, other things do not, like decorative bushes, Housewalls and the sides of hills.

I could not use some mage spells uphill, but magic missile worked very well. I also tried the converse, and found that when I was uphill, the same spells got blocked shooting downhill (so no advantage).
It seems that the PvE mobs have the advantage.

@Roccandil Ahh yeah, i was reading it wrong a bit
True for own spells there is a blocking at up and downhill. And yeah in case of PVE and where creatures can run through or hit you, is the advantage for sure at side of the Mob

I had the same problem with magic on the valey of shadows vs Goblin archers
