How many characters will be playable on 1 account?

It's probably been said somewhere yet I still missed it. If anyone knows the answer please let me know because it's going to be a big burden to pick a character I really want to play if it turns out to be locked to only one.

You start with 3 slots, but you can buy more. The pledge packs come with extra slots.

I can see myself using one for each race, at least at first, to test out ideas

I guess when you already play in Alpha, where you can only play Humans anyway, you can test the differences of the attributes with those 3 slots

@eurav in Alpha 1 just humans, we don‘t know exactly, when they introduce the other races.
If you will have access to Alpha 1, you will get at Release at least 4 extra character slots.

If you have Proprietor Pack you got them in reason of previous packs, this gives access to Alpha 2, what i think it is a good goodie for it and Alpha 2 will probably more enjoyable than Alpha 1
