And I want to not see such a thing. I don't mind people having fun, but that would be not-fun and rather annoying to me. Just my own personal preference. I think there should be games that joke like that, and games that do not. The not-joking about Earth/silly stuff like that MMOs... are few and far between.
Everyone has their preferences, but the constant references and Tera style oddball stuff are really annoying to me.

MMOs usually start off with normal, decent cosmetics, and then when standard cosmetics sales drop, they start introducing silly stuff to pull some more money out off those that will pay for that.
Sadly MMOs are a business and it will always be about money first and foremost, regardless of what any company claims (to boost their PR).
Long gone are the days when enthusiast coders created the games, with game quality and player enjoyment as first primary objective. We can always hope someone will introduce something like that again (without caring about money as primary objective) but chances for that are slim to none. At least when large games are in question.

actually having a Litter would fit in the theme of the game. Thus having bipeds needing to move it would work.I wouldn't be surprised if someone put another on their shoulders as a form of transportation too.
You example of Tera is a good one in that they went too far. I see that game [play] dying and the dev's just want more cash by the loyalist or gamblers (from loot boxes).

@jetah I see more a litter for rich people or just a way to travel from a point to another point in a big city, but not for going in the forest or something else.

The beauty of it being biped powered is they can adapt to different terrains. Iād call them the first biped made ATV!

I like the band itself and saw them often in the past, but more as their second combo Tanzwut.
But yeah, i mean a Raven, but especially a Corvus Corax or Kolkrabe in german.

@jetah A litter or palanquin would be fitting if put in... and might inspire some rather otherwise good humans to actually try to contract assailants.

Same with Kralith - you have to be more specific. Do you mean a real, live hog? Or a hog as a motorbike?
I would love to have a steam powered hog myself.

Wonder if pets will have special animations for whichever type they are. Like having birds land on your shoulder when idle for example. Could be a nice touch. Other games have done that to good effect.
Certainly helps with the immersion, it's those small touches if you ask me.

Spider mount, snake mount, turtle mount, maybe demons get "run" mode where they get on all fours and go mount speed. Now that would be something to see.

I do not know what people see in snake mounts. But maybe that is because I get seasick easy and when riding on snake, you would go zig-zag along with his body.What I mean is, your body sitting on top of a snake you wouldn't go like this: --------

Snake mounts could be a problem, cause it need to be big enough for, at least, a hellfire, so it will be really long ^^

Well, maybe then slimy slugs instead of mounts... But those would be on the other hand pretty slow...
