Suggestion for Joining / Leaving Cities
-
Might I make a suggestion that you put the ability to leave a city in your social / guild window. Instead of making you have to go all the way to the city that you joined to leave it.
-
Dropping Citizenship should be an official act requiring you to go to the town hall of the City your dropping. This makes it official and serves notice that you are no longer bound to a city. Just being able to toggle it on or off in the wild makes no sense. It also doesn't fit with the story aspect of the game.

@GamerSeuss Agreed.
I appreciate that Fractured is forgoing certain conveniences with respect to city management.
I like that Governors and Vice-Governors have to go to the city hall in order to use the administrative functions of the city and can't access those powers from anywhere else.
Likewise, I like that players have to go to city hall to apply for citizenship or abandon it.
It makes these decisions much more deliberate and impactful if they can't simply be toggled on and off at whim from anywhere.

Wholly agree with @Alexian and @GamerSeuss on this one.
These things should feel impactful in game and should be decisions that are considered carefully.
-
I stand with the others, while I agree that communication between groups should be easy (party chat, guild chat, city chat), actions should be taken in the place they have to be taken.
-
Agree too, but in that case having an indication for which city you applied to, would be nice. There are players who have no idea where they should go to cancel the apply
-
@spoletta Might sound a touch callous here, but, they should have paid attention to where they applied, shouldn't they have?
-
Yeah, but they are usually new players. They roam around, enter a player city without even knowing what it is, see this interactable table and click things randomly.
