I've noticed that magic missiles do not always cast. Even when you have targeted another monster. You need to fix spell targeting. Create a tab targeting system to cycle through all nearby monsters for your spells to target.

You don't lose all your gear. You lose all your carried gear and items. The same penalty happens in EVE online.

Fix Health / Death penalty
I understand you want to make a difference between a campfire and a tavern or house fire pit. However, if you're far away from your home or an available tavern/house fire, the death penalty can become restrictive very easily. You might want to rethink the severe penalty.

Suggestion for Joining / Leaving Cities
Might I make a suggestion that you put the ability to leave a city in your social / guild window. Instead of making you have to go all the way to the city that you joined to leave it.

Game keeps crashing on my computer every few minutes
Well, not going to be in this alpha since the game keeps crashing every few minutes. I have a Dell G5 SE AMD Ryzen 5 and M5600 graphics. Your game must not be optimized for AMD at this point. I have lowered the graphics settings and made sure my radeon graphics drivers were the latest.

Is there ever going to be a sort option for your inventory and chests?
I think the quality of life in-game feature that needs to be included in an upcoming test is a sort and collate inventory for your backpack and chests. It would make things much easier to organize within your inventory.

If they're focusing on loot grinding activities, the health penalty makes the grinding much harder. Especially if your city is on the other side of a chain of mountains that you must run halfway around the world to get to so we can drop off our stuff and there are no player cities around that are not in ruin or active.

RE: upkeep unrealistic
If you have more than a few people in your city which would be for most guilds, the upkeep isn't unrealistic. It is for a small guild.

It's what happens in EVE which is another sandbox game. If there's no penalty for dying what's the point of the game. It teaches you to not be so reckless and plan ahead.
