Support/Bard Type Archetypes?

Hello all,
Quick question. I know there aren't going to be classes, but do they plan on adding support skills, or maybe even a bard archetype? Or will it be more traditional "tank/healer/dps" builds?

i hope they add one. complete with instruments and cords that have to be played for the spells.

Hi @Marovec! Several schools of magic include support spells. Restoration is the main one, but there will be plenty in Musicianship too

@Marovec restoration, enchanting anything dependant on CHARISMA ... even warfare school has one "paladin" buff. Charisma also makes you possible pet master, so your minions fight for you (so you probably won´t need perception, aim or crit chance, as heals cant crit), so you´ll probably be also ultimate tank and high CHA will give you more luck, so your CC will be also nice (so far many warfare skills hit independently on your aim).

... and if you plug your guitar hero controller and shred the song on it the buff gets extra effects.

what's a guitar hero controller?
and i've played a Bard that required cords to be played to proc their abilities! it was pretty unique. I believe I posed about it in a dedicated Bard thread.

i can't remember if i started it or just added to it. i'd have to search for it as there isn't an easy way to locate past post.yeah i didn't start one. i must have added it to a post about 'wanted' classes/play styles.

Ok, so now that buffers are confirmed, what is the stance on dual boxing? You know, bufferslaves are not unheard of in other games...

people will always complain if they exist. they give 1 person a possible advantage with 2 characters, against another. only thing you can really do against that type is to CC/Root one character so it isn't near the fighter (if they move together).

I'm not talking about using it in pvp, but in pve. Instead of inviting a buffer, you bring your own toon and kick it from the party once everyone is buffed.PS: Even if dual boxing is not allowed, people will inevitably use multiple toons. I can use my PC for my main and laptop for the slave to scout the entrance in case we farm in a dungeon.

Of course I'm going to have multiple accounts... This way I can flip the market, buff or scout while also playing on my main. I mean, lots of people do that.

Could even have only movment versions of spells to dash about like a madman

@asspirin many people would and will spend to buy multiple accounts, as well as multiple machines. Especially when skills are limited and they can use other characters to put at risk, that helps maintain the safety of the main. It’s why figuring out the stance on such things is important.

you're talking the funding of an indie company vs a few players who'll multibox 20 accounts; where most (that multibox) will have 2-5 max.
one reason WoW allows it is because of the subscription. Fractured will have an optional sub so who knows.
