Fractured and Albion

Hi guys I started not so long time ago playing Albion and I found it's really fun, after that I found information about Fractured. Can you tell me differences between these 2 games?

Perhaps the biggest difference is that Fractured won't have tiered equipment or progression (where tier 4 is better than 3, and so on). Rather, progression will be horizontal. I'm not entirely sure what that looks like yet, myself.
Another huge difference is the map: continents in Fractured will be one large land mass, not a bunch of small connected maps. Cities and houses will be in varying locations on continents, and teleporting from place to place will I believe either be rare or non-existent (excluding inter-planetary travel, which we haven't seen much about yet).
Even in Alpha, the Fractured world feels much bigger than in Albion, where I'm never very far from a portal or a city.

the search bar is quite effective, btw.

With Fractured being a new game, I feel like people are just grasping for the next closest thing to compare it to and with it sharing the same top down perspective and a focus on PvP gameplay, Albion is a natural choice for many.
I personally feel like once we get a more in-depth look at the actual systems driving the gameplay behind Fractured, it will be nothing like Albion.

It’s very difficult to compare a game in Alpha to a game that has been on full release for 2 years. Both games are sandboxes, Albion is fairly compact map wise while Fractured looks a lot bigger with huge expanses to explore. Housing is mostly open world in Fractured with player cities, in Albion you get individual islands.
Gameplay wise the games are very different, with Albion favouring a linear progression with only combat skills available for change, where Fractures Knowledge system looks a lot more open allowing full customisation of your character whenever you like within reason n.
Tl:dr - Very different games, both good, both interesting.
