@keegzzz it's abit early to answer this and It's up to Devs on how many things/feature they will implement in the game at time. More things = more problems like always. If they are going to add small little things at time I suppose that will be faster to solve problems.
@lastpsych do not worry you just have to learn how to play an isometric game. Considering that will be mostly a pvp game I suggest you to play some mobas around like Dota2, HotS, LoL and os on get some skill there and you will be super ready for this game.
DF:UW had big power gaps between new players and veteran players. There was also a big power difference between tiers of gear. In Fractured you don't have any of that, but in stead horizontal progression and gear that is situational instead of more powerfull.
tagging @Shadowphoenix too
What we know right now. We'll automagically know some basic crafts and combat. (speculation here) Merchants may sell reagents that are required for crafting. I can see them selling basic tier consumables like water and stale bread.
Each player have to gather and craft the basic stuff then get an advanced crafter to make better tiered gear (this is speculation as how I imagine it).
There will be city based auction houses but nothing that will connected all 3 planets. You'll have to venture from town to town to see what's being offered. This also makes for a courier profession and trader profession.
@specter
correct, I'm not an employee of DS. Thus what I say isn't an official statement by my own observation. I did my best to not state it as fact but I used the word believe which implies an opinion.
@jetah Yeah, and the bard could, if wishes, work in a tavern for coin, having also an economic value in the game. I hope that is implemented in game at some point, it would make the experience of the game more realistic,
@cystematic
