RE: Considering Character stats
I got that from here
Perception is a measure of the accuracy and observation skills of a character, determining its chances to score critical hits and the damage they do, its accuracy rating, its ability to instinctively identify items, to spot hidden creatures, traps and treasures and to find valuable resources while gathering.
Reaching a Perception score of 20 gives the character a significant boost to its accuracy rating.
Although Dexterity also refers to accuracy
Dexterity is a measure of the speed, nimbleness, stealth and sleight of hands of your character, determining its accuracy and evasion ratings, the cooldowns of combat-related and mobility-based abilities, the chance to inflict critical hits
Next alpha might give us the opportunity to test this.

RE: Considering Character stats
@Xzoviac said in Considering Character stats:
So atm, all stats start on 10 with 60 points to spend in allocation
Isn't that only for humans as they have 120 points, where beastlings and demons only have 100 IIRC?
Considering that Perception also seems a major source of accuracy rating I suppose you can not neglect that stat (needed for bosses and PvP, or is that not a thing in this game?) Where I translate accuracy rating as a chance to hit with your spell.

RE: Gamer Demographics & Namings
As far as I know, the gender-neutral language was not to make life easier for women, but merely for those who don't think they belong to either man or women.
Many games, like this report by Quantic which (as far I am aware) have no specific gender-neutral language, have a healthy population of women playing it. So I really don't see the point of needing this suggestion to get more women into this game.
Type/Genre of the game seems way more relevant to attract women to games.
Also if I look at this part of the OP "The link below does not take non-binary players into account but believe me I know MANY." It's like saying I know a lot of Christian people cause I go to church every Sunday. People tend to surround themselves with like-minded.
I rather like to refer to Bullet number 9 of the Quantic report:
- Highest Percentage of Non-Binary Gender Gamers in Exploration and Family/Farm Sims.
The baseline of non-binary gender gamers in our full sample is 1.1%. In the current analysis, the genres that had the most non-binary gender gamers were Atmospheric Exploration (3.8%), Family/Farm Sim (3.2%), Casual Puzzle (2.7%), and Sandbox games (2.3%).
Adjusting your game for 1,1% of a potential player base? Should not be on a list of things-to-do for an Indie-developer with sparse resources IMHO
- Highest Percentage of Non-Binary Gender Gamers in Exploration and Family/Farm Sims.

RE: Summoner
@Xzoviac Just a thought, but I think it would be even better if you could eventually gain enough knowledge to summon across all alignments..... just make it a lot harder to attend any school in the wrong alignment for anything other than a very short period. That way if you were prepared to put in the hard yards, it could eventually allow a true master summoner to infiltrate other planets with a minion for resource gathering, something that might otherwise be just too hard to obtain. I don't think it should cause a major upset if a world was not considered 100% pure to its alignment, i.e. 99.9% would be good enough. That way even Arboreus could have the odd wolf in sheep's clothing and so long as it did not commit a major offence i.e. murder, perhaps the odd deceit could be an exception.
That idea sounds like having a retainer like in FF14 where you can send npc's on a mission to gather resources. By that, you would neglect the basic idea of punishing the player depending on his alignment, and in my opinion not really talking about summoning anymore, if you (the player), are not even there yourself to control what your creatures are doing.
Having the ability to get resources from another planet that way would be too much of an advantage IMHO, but that is all based on the information I have so far on this game.
