RE: Bees?
Luckily there is a big difference between steampunk style and pink PJ's/rainbow dresses.
It makes sense that humans after they have developed that technology (it will not be available at the start, as building the necessary elements will require the effort of a whole town) also develop a different style of clothing.
I assume (and hope) beast-man, humans and demons will have different armour styles. Closer to historic/reality Asian fantasy style.

RE: [Poll] City Reputation System
@Jetah said in [Poll] City Reputation System:
i thought they said there were limited NPCs and no grinding. wouldn't rep require NPCs and grinding?
My thoughts exactly. I imagine this would require a similar extended system as the knowledge system if you want to avoid grinding for reputation in just a small part of the map.

RE: New here!
Welcome @hehawtripledarse !
In case you have the urge to post something just for the points, we have this No effort or thinking about the content required, just a minimum of 8 characters

RE: Requisite for casting magic
@Jetah With 3 ranks per spell that would make it the double of 200 I thought it was. Creating 400 unique spells would be a real challenge.

RE: See you on the battlefield
Welcome @TheSlyFawkes: Best wolves will be on Arboreus
UDOADRA (WOLF-KIN)
Udoadra LineartAlso known as Wolf-Kin, the Udoadra are regarded as the most social and friendly family among all beastmen. While not larger than a human, they are considerably stronger and more resilient.
Udoadra’s true excellence lies in coordinated group fighting, as they are the keepers of ancient secrets that allow them to increase the power of their pack. A group of Udoadra is truly an unstoppable force of nature! Moreover, their social skills and attachment to other living being make them unparalleled animal trainers.
When transformed into their primal form, the wolf, the Udoadra gain speed and additional pack bonuses, unlocking abilities designed to empower allies and to cooperatively damage or restrain even the most powerful opponents.

RE: Requisite for casting magic
@Azurael said in Requisite for casting magic:
Does this mean certain spells can only be cast with these weapons and spells like that are disabled while you are holding say a bow or spear?
Yes, it does, on the other hand, you can easily switch between 3 equipped weapons/unarmed, which give you more flexibility.
But with only 29 "spells" in alpha 1 (ca 10% of total obtainable in the live version) I assume there will be enough to choose from without to be forced to switch weapons at all.
However, weapon switch might be needed for optimal ( PvP) build however. To soon to say.

RE: Becoming an angel
@Gothix said in Becoming an angel:
@Meiki That's not correct. Good characters can attack all flagged characters (murderers, thieves) at will. Not sure about unflagged evil characters, perhaps even them.
From the feature spotlight #6:
If you flag yourself as Good, you are not allowed to perform hostile actions against any other Good or Neutral player. There are several ways this restriction is applied – some common cases being:
You can’t use basic attacks and targeted spells against Good or Neutral players.
Your AOE abilities cause no damage or negative side effects to Good or Neutral players.
You can’t loot the corpse of a dead Good or Neutral player.
Giving the killing blow to a knocked-out Good or Neutral player is not possible.
You can’t take possession of bounty that doesn’t belong to you.On the contrary, all the hostile actions listed above are permitted against Evil players – and even encouraged by Karma gains!

RE: Opinion on Monsters after the alpha
And from the Stretch goals on PvE Endgame:
- Animal Taming: including unique ones ?
- Fishing (if that's your cup of tea)
- Labyrinth: which is descriped as: A hardcore survival challenge in a procedurally-generated dungeon (at least 4 levels ?) Not sure how Hardcore this will be ofcourse

RE: Opinion on Monsters after the alpha
With only a small part of the skills available and no knowledge systems, it's hard for me to already have an opinion on this. Combat balance and tweaking is often part of the beta phase.

RE: ETA on developer forum?
@Specter said in ETA on developer forum?:
Prometheus wants to add the developer forum but he's so busy right now he's unable to make time for it. In the meanwhile, maybe we can discuss what you would like to see in this developer forum. Many questions are already being answered in the other parts of the forum by Znirf and me, and updates are already being posted in the Fractured news section. What could the devs do to make this exclusive section unique and valuable to backers like you?
What could make this exclusive and valuable to me, assuming you are using sprints, are small updates on those, what are you guys working on (edit your minutes, if you can or will not share all of it, can be part of an NDA). Maybe small behind the scene video's (nothing fancy).
I agree that this should not take your focus from the real development, but some raw content from time to time would be much appreciated.
