Well, if you are talking tavern games, you got to have darts, you know?

ему просто можно было бы скинуть ссылку с 2 игровыми аспектами и он бы сразу все понял. Я не старался писать подробно, я просто обобщил.
This is true, he could have looked it up himself. Probably should have, frankly. But, if that's how you felt, why didn't you just provide those links yourself, and be totally accurate with less writing?

RE: Social interaction buffs
@jetah sure, just before they go blind and fall over XD - that might also be a thing, now that I think about it - spend too much time in a bar, and you get one of a couple debuffs, possibly risk addiction and "waking up" in some random npc's house, possibly being attacked by said NPC or their SO XD
Debuff is just a random thing, doesn't last too long. Addiction takes a long time to resolve, and you don't get the benefits of hanging at the bar, it just keeps you "stable" for a bit (and maybe makes the addiction worse).
You are entirely on your own with that NPC though. Hope that charisma bonus is still in effect XD

RE: [Poll] Tails... because you asked for it! :)
@kralith She just got tail... XD
Okay, that was bad, I'm sorry, it was just...low hanging fruit -.-
Okay, so, I figure Infernals for the classic spade/arrowhead tails you see all the time
but it does beg the question, what do we do to tail the other 2? Blood...I almost want to see something like a Cell's tail (DBZ) if much less girthy - something with a hollow needle point, something that will randomly stab corpses and glow red, like it's sucking vitae out of the dying body.
Shadows are weirder...like, maybe a thin black cloud floating behind them, or maybe some dagger-spined/tipped bit of professional agony? I dunno.

@albuswolfer Race have only + and, - to different characteristics. Also, it will have some inclinations. There's nothing special anymore.
Muker, everything other than straight human has some powers, individual to that species, too.
To @AlbusWolfer It seem like the racial powers are non-trainable and start out unlocked (or may unlock after/during the tutorial)

RE: [Poll] Tails... because you asked for it! :)
@albuswolfer yeah, the proposal doesn't really fit the hart or bear, but it would feel weird to not have a tail on a croc, lion, tiger, or wolf (to include the proposed sub-species). Same way, I'm not sure if Blood ought to have a tail, but Infernal definitely should XD
-
RE: Social interaction buffs
@jetah Actually, a +1 to a stat is pretty huge. I expect that the actual bonus is going to be things like "people interact with you as if your Charisma was 3 points higher" for the tavern/music buff - remember, one of the things that charisma does is affect conversation options - so, before you take/cash in a god quest, you go to the bar to get your pretty on to improve the reward XD

RE: this is more a question, but...
yup, all demons have a combat oriented, auto-activated power with a trigger - Blood get power from hurting others, Infernals get power based on how long a fight lasts, and Shadow get power based on the time of day.
It's been theorized that Angels and Abominations will keep their original race's trigger mechanism, but in some way flip the focus of the power - like an Infernal Angel might produce a regen aura that get's stronger based on how long someone else has been fighting - something similar to an Infernal Demon's fight duration self-buff, but rather than it being personal and selfish, all of it's variables are focus on other people.

RE: [Poll] Tails... because you asked for it! :)
Part of me is going "meh," but the rest of me is like, "sure, why not?" It looks better with tails, especially given the variety you can do with demons, so, if it doesn't prove to be expensive, I'm all for letting it be.

RE: Social interaction buffs
@kralith Yes, get the pretty ones, and play them like [stringed instruments]! XD
but the major point I was focusing on was that Bards ought to auto-generate floor shows as part of their skill set XD
well, no, that wasn't it at all, but I'd kind of love to have the option of getting different floor show effects tied to playing, and more than just the standard lute plinking for what we play, when we play, the same way we can change the color of our sword swings and fireballs. The original thought was more "I don't want every bard to play the exact same song on the exact same instrument every single time" - clearly, this is a very late-stage development thing, and we'll probably only get 3 or 4 single instrument versions of 5 or 6 in-game music trtacks, but it would be nice to have some options and variety.

RE: Social interaction buffs
XD
But, on a more serious note, I do like the idea of doing normal things and netting certain bonuses. Like, if you hang out somewhere (tavern) with friends and having a good time, you get a 50% resistance to the Despair debuff for a real-time hour.Of course, you can get some weird things. like, going to hang out with a bard for an evening improves your charisma for a while (or maybe that's just the beer goggles XD) and going to the opera gives you a lesser charisma bonus, but an equal intelligence bonus, but they probably shouldn't stack, since they both come from similar sources - listening to music socially. The easy way to handle this is either one overwrites the other, or the time you need to acquire the bonus is longer than the bonus itself, so you can't get them to stack.

RE: pre alfa date ?
@althalus I was mostly joking, but you have a fair point. to some extent, the use of limited player participation in the alpha stage is a trend that comes from devs finding the results almost as useful as formal QA, and the players pay you to do it, as opposed to you paying the professionals to do it right, as long as the players actually make proper bug reports. I have done proper QA on actual games, and I know what to expect, so I'm not expecting alpha, let alone pre-alpha, to be anything that a buggy hot mess - but it always amuses me whenever anyone gets into a pre-beta game and then complains (not reports, but kzeches) about bugs. Like what did you expect, ya goofs? it's nowhere near release right now!

- Event/Holiday Clothing/Skins.
Fractured should, imho, have own imagined holidays, and not copy Earth holidays. Fractured world is reality of it's own, so why not it's own holiday system that could be immersed together with the lore and game play, partly through the whole year (preparations for holidays in some way).
I'm not agreeing, or disagreeing, but I will note that Fractured is Earth after an Apocolypse How event, so I could see some cultures doing their best to hang on to old events as a way to memorialize "how it was before," while others discard them in order to gain new perspective, or because remembering the previous world is to emotionally traumatizing (playing with lore here).
now, what I'd find interesting, is if the two were seasonally in conflict. Like, if two of the dukes of Syn got into a fight because one side wants to do easter/spring equinox in the christian style (or as best can be managed/remembered), and the other wants to go a different way; whatever that means. and then we'd get quests out of both Dukedoms not only prepping for the events, but also messing with the prep for the other side.
Third Duke is like "F! this sh!t, I'm out" and does quests focusing on actually getting the crops planted, dang it.
Or you get the Demon God declaring "no x-mas" because it make demons think about things other than tearing the throats out the humans, and besides, it makes no sense, since Tartaros hasn't got a winter, a solstice, or anything like that, and we should all get on with fighting, not pining after things lost. that way leads angelism!
Or something like that.
Anyway, then we get quests about hunting hidden celebrants or trying to underground railroad them to safe places to celebrate.

RE: Why Magic users will be OP compared to physical users
@albuswolfer yup. Now, all the passives are on a tree, not part of the 400/1200, so the balance will hopefully put more skills into each of the 5(~ish) physical groups, than the 9 magical ones.

RE: pre alfa date ?
aw. I was relatively free these next two weeks, but I expect my schedule to go hideous starting the week before black friday, just because it always does XD Still, better to have a demi-functional mess than a non-functional mess for a pre-alpha. Make sure the devs hand out specific instructions on what they want tested, and how to turn in bug reports. this ain't my first rodeo, and clarity and ease of reporting is an immensely beneficial thing when the system is expected to crash 72 times cause you looked at it funny XD

@jetah true, but in my defense, I hadn't seen your comment before I posted. Guys, give Jetah some props.

RE: Why Magic users will be OP compared to physical users
@wolfkomodo46 yup, and I can get that, though, I can see why the devs are going the other way, too. short answer: extra variable tracking versus a need for free bandwidth to cover spikes in data flow (cause someone just altered the topography, and everyone needs to know it, stat)
But first, a single question - what issue are you addressing by adding the stamina bar?
The Elder Scroll Fatigue bar, as it exists in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, is a nerf on fighters, meant to introduce strategy after it turned out that melee combat was a bit too brainless, and warriors too OP in general, in the first two games. Given that we are already worried that mages will be OP, this seems like a weird thing to ask for, though I'm pretty sure that that's not your intention. (side note: what Fatigue did in the first two games was give characters a reason to sleep and use an inn. For that purpose, it mostly failed in the first game, and became weirdly lethal in the second XD Also, we already are going to have this sort of meter in Fractured, though it's going to cover things like eating and exposure, as well as tiredness, from what we've been told).
-
RE: Why Magic users will be OP compared to physical users
@albuswolfer Pretty much. Mana is literally the random name the devs gave to "the meter you use when you use skills"
As Lovechildbell says, certain skills are supposed to be cheap to the point of being costless - I assume that we are talking about things like a "Flurry of Blows" ability from Martial Arts, (multi-hit that's slightly worse than a basic attack, but much faster), or "shield bash" out of Warfare - basic, bread and butter sorts of physical moves that anyone could do, but are just different enough to require some sort of cost or cooldown.
