I personally loved Warhammer because of many great things. Like tanks that matter in pvp with the guard and taunt mechanic, shut down the enemy city and it's instances for a few days if the city raid was succesfull, Keep and fortress fights with backdooring, a pretty okish mechanic to favour players that face a zerg (against all odds buff which granted up to 400% more renown and xp), leveling was possible with PvP only if you wanted to. The detaunt mechanic was pretty dope too (-50% inc dmg from a target with high cd) Facing a pick up zerg with a proper 6man and snacking the sweet renown with the aao buff. Fun times i miss them

@Heartlock instanced maps/clusters are not an option in a open world game imo. And how do you avoid zergs when the guildleaders decide who can go in a zone? Can you elaborate this? Do you think of a zone like an arena/battleground? I don't see that working on such big maps with phasing/zoning tbh

i like both ideas, as long as it only offeres cosmetic stuff or actual content i'm fine with that (i mean with something like the collection request, a reward like a small percentage of the collected resources would be fine too i guess)

@Gothix we wont have a general FF system inside of parties/guilds because of the crime system, devs stated that already

@WhiteLotus well there is a big difference, and thats called friendly fire. So since this is a full loot PvP game we wouldn't have such zergs like in albion for example if the groups (max of 20 atm) are split up in several guilds, so to work together there is much more discipline and tactics/communication needed than in a mindless zerg from a big alliance or guild because there just the sheer amount of people really matters.

@Razvan because they messed up their game, chestlogs for example weren't even in the game as it went live, all QoL things took really long to get fleshed out and be easy to use, most things weren't even in at release or not good usable beside of taxes and islands. But mostly i'm mad about them because they delivered a other game than they promised when i buyed in

That's a bit offtopic and i believe they'll put in a good managment system, not all devs are such trolls like sandbox interactive
