It is already like this. Players don't decide the bail out or the time. It is automatically calculated, based on the karma of the red player getting jailed.

@Logain said in Legends need to change: @Rife said in Legends need to change: It's amusing you say this, well, you haven't been here for long and probably didn't read my previous posts on related subjects. Most certainly. Which validates my point, PvP for the sake of PvP is not the content. yes it is. Youre not the boss. You cant dictate what is fun and what isnt to people.

Indeed I think that the following changes would make mage play more entertaining: (Optional) The staged spell channeling changes I detailed in another thread. Special property of all mage staffs (and wands in the future) - Spell Weaving: Works in the same way as the current Battle Mage bonus set, in that it provides stacks based on mana used, but those stacks provide mana regen instead of bonus damage. This helps mages with their mana issues. Technically you could do the same with a simple mana regeneration bonus on the staffs, but then everyone would just keep a mage staff as a secondary weapon and switch to it to recover mana. It is better that the mana recovery triggers only when you actually use the staff to cast the spell. 10% spell damage bonus on all staffs (including primitive). In addition, elemental staffs add another 10% to their element, and apply 10 stacks on hit. In short, there should be a difference in casting with a scimitar or with a mage weapon.

I definitely think they cherry picked the mostly softball questions. And it certainly didn't need to be live. Only reason for it to be live is to have participation and feedback. Given the state of Aerhen after nearly a month im concerned for Arboreus. The totally skipped those questions. And it was the very first one asked. Also very concerned over the lack of priorities. Features should never take precedence over fixes. The most glaring issue we still face is the travel bug from the tutorial and between islands. Guaranteed CTD every single time. Then there's the store issues. Everyday there's more and more people in the player help channel with issues buying the game. Oddly enough, most of those seem to foreign. and gamingo is foreign. (to the us i mean). Shouldn't it be easier for them to buy the game? Those two issues will kill this game faster than any other bug. Not being able to buy the game, and then when you finally can your first introduction is a game crashing bug.

On recipes I 100% agree. On the point of the item rarity, I actually think that they are fine. Players wanted an equip which was harder to obtain and now they have it. This though does not allow the equip to destroy at the rate we would need. So probably the easiest solution here, is to double the amount of rare materials required to craft the item, while also doubling the drop rate (so that the material cost is an even number for every piece). Now, when the set item gets destroyed, you automatically recover and create into your inventory half of the rare materials required to craft it. So for example a battle mage armor would cost 4 force stones and you would recover 2 when it gets destroyed. This has the advantage of keeping the target of obtaining a set at the current difficulty, while making it way easier to replace it when it gets destroyed. On the third point I mostly disagree with the +1/+2/+3 system... and I'm not saying that only cause I finally modified all the items in the wiki and don't want to revert it all! That system had scaling issues which were hard to solve. The old socketing system instead was fine, with the caveat that tier 1 enchants should cost only the chipped gem and not gold.

@Antoniius I think you are exaggerating a bit too much.. Demons (or partly evils in general) cannot freely roam on all the three planets. They can spend a limited time on Syndesia and Arboreus and traveling to another planets can be challenging in general. Arboreus will be even more safe than Syndesia and no furries needs to participate on PvP unless they want to. I agree that on Syndesia forcing players to PvP is not a good thing because it will not simply work in practise. However, evil players should have this possibility to PK others, even significantly restricted. Also concensual PvP, neutral playstyle, should be encouraged. However, if the good players are excluded from end-game content and neutral flagging is needed for every meaningful activities, we are on the road of forcing (passively) people to PvP. IMHO the ideal situation for Syndesia is that threath of the PvP is always present but ganking for example happens only sometimes. Additionally, the PvP would be mainly consensual. Syndesia would favor somewhat neutral playstyle without totally excluding others from the end-game content.

the problem with citizenship is that we literally have no security options right now, we can't set roles or rights to harvest the fields etc, so you don't want any strangers as citizens right now.

Blood iron and several other alloys require Shadium ingots. But there is no Shadium mines anywhere, none in Myr nor in Aerhen.

@GamerSeuss said in The Eviction/Refugee system ( Residential area solution for city takeovers ): (...)Syndesia is the Beastmen planet(...) Arboreus is the Beastman planet, Syndesia is the Human planet.¹ @GamerSeuss said in The Eviction/Refugee system ( Residential area solution for city takeovers ): (...)the Human Planet is a mixed bag planet(...) Yes, that's why I said the mechanic should feature a 'between completely save and complete anarchy'. It's similar to how PvP is handled on Syndesia. You can be attacked anywhere, but there are negative consequences for the attacker. That's not completely save, but that's not complete anarchy either. @GamerSeuss said in The Eviction/Refugee system ( Residential area solution for city takeovers ): (...)for the newbie population, sometimes there is a comfort factor in being able to play Humans. They are familiar and thus it is less jarring for those who aren't necessarily seasoned gamers, and these humans need to be able to opt-out of the Siege mechanic as well, if anything, they need it more than others as they are barely getting their feet wet in the MMORPG world(...) I'd like to argue against this. You can't opt out of PvP on Syndesia and that's something likely to happen to you far more often and earlier into your gaming experience than being evicted from a house. Actually, I'd say by the time you have settled, built a house in a town that gets sieged and were valuable enough of a target for the attackers to spend enough resources to evict you, you're no longer a 'newbie'. What you're arguing is basically the Human planet should be completely save as well, just like the Beastman planet, because some people might want to play Human instead of Beastman.

Reproduction scenario : Equip greatsword, check combat modifier on character sheet Memorize a preset with Blademaster talent See that combat modifier on character sheet with greatsword has no change. Expected result : On (3), we should have an increase of combat modifier for the greatsword since the blademaster talent should work on swords.

Hey, Not sure if this is a bug or not, but it's basically impossible to make Tier 2 Accuracy enchantment. Seems unfair against evasion builds since they can do tier 2 evasion enchantments.

Oh nevermind, I saw it wrongly, the magic resistance does go up, and there is no armor bonus since it apparently doesnt stack with existing armor.

Relentless talent doesnt seem to be working for Handaxe. Reproduction scenario : Use the skill Relentless Style to always get max damage. Make sure Relentless Talent is memorized Hit monsters - check that base damage ( not crit damage ) doesnt increase, when it should since you are deducting the armor.

@Rife (hands you a snickers) I think you were delirious friend. Here have a snickers. they satisfy!!! And have you ever tried to grab anything when you are severely starved? or extremely overweight? whew... tell you.. it is a chore indeed. sometime I just can't find myself having enough energy to grab anything to eat at all. With that said, I think they intended it to be this way... though it is truly a pain in the arse to have to deal with in a game.

Buying a new mouse is not the solution. I agree that there should not be a auto move from location to location to prevent boting has someone said in a earlier tópic, however has it is is a little uncomfortable and can even bring some problems. My solution passes with an auto-move forward following and invisible mouse pointer, but the mouse cannot be in the same screen coordinates (or whatever you want to call it) more than 4 seconds (for example). To activate such invisible pointer we just need to double click (since doubler click is doing nothing atm). To deactivate just a simple click will do, character will stop moving and mouse pointer will appear again. With this people would even to write/chat and move (instead having the need to stop and write and them start moving again). Thanks
