What if meals were randomly set (per character) to have an affect.
That's a neat interesting idea! I like it! Maybe with an offset to the random generator depending on race?

Thanks, same to you @Mata !

(...)And I hope I see you tomorrow again.
I'd much prefer some actual content postings over the 'daily thread', but...
141, but as @tulukaruk pointed out we haven't seen a 'limit'/'maximum' yet and the Kickstarter is supposed to be a heavy influence (and mix up the ranking).
If I'd have to chose something, I'd go with cartographer. But more often then not, 'jobs' tend to be a horribly 'side product' in games and nothing like requiring work and dedication.

Gosh we need a new dev posting
Welcome to Fractured!
I was hoping to play Shroud of the Avatar, but the community managed to drift the design from the original (advertised) intention to something that I don't really like. So I'm waiting for some games to be released or get into a playable version (Legends of Aria to reach Steam, Chronicles of Elyria to launch VoxElyria and Fractured for the pre alpha test).
They could need different kind of food as well. That would mean you'd have to plan when invading another planet since you won't be able to find food there that you could digest.

(...)Don't forget other Demon parties may PvP attack the ones gathering resources for a portal(...)
I'm certainly not forgetting that possibility. That said, I think that there's going to form large enough groups that want to 'competitively engage with some forum warriors' on different planets, that they can actually coordinate protection for the people gathering. By giving the Demons a 'common enemy', it can potentially allow them to stick together on a common cause.
@tulukaruk said in Respawn planet:
(...)And about builders groups - how many demons will say "ok, i'll stay and build instead of having fun wrecking havoc"
You can take turns, you can offer them protection and a share of the bounty. people are going to use alternate accounts and run them in the background with macros/bots.
I guess you're going to be surprised. I expect multiple stargates open per day and organised raid groups.
@tulukaruk said in Respawn planet:
@finland cause going back should be more troublesome then just clicking on portal
That'd be the question. Since we know that people need to cooperate in order to open a gate between the planets, it could very well be that one part of demons tackles the 'opening' part and another is the invading force, once the portal is used up, the 'builders' instantly go to creating the next one and the invaders would just 'click' on it.
That'd mean both ' not easy' (requires massive coordination and teamwork on a completely PvP spot) and yet 'just click' at the same time.

@jetah Thats kinda inevitable cus most of the time what is best is simply just what works most of the time
If the goal of Fractured is horizontal and not vertical progression, how would that statement be valid?
If you can pick/set your alignment (good/neutral/evil) during a resting period, wouldn't it be logic that you could pick your respawn point alongside that as well? And if the timer is up on another planet, you can always get a forced back teleport to the standard spawn point of your alignment-race combination, if you have set a spawn point you can't access.
That would solve all possible edge cases and issues, while providing the highest amount of flexibility.
