@Xzait it was a persons art work, so completely separate from Fractured. i played destiny 2 (on pc) and the one problem it had was no meaniful gameplay behind doing things once. the reason why was every cosmetic was behind a pay wall (eververse). you could get lootboxes every level beyond cap that that wasn't helping. one of the content updates was to put some cosmetics behind game play walls. there was a mount you could get when you shot certain items then found the chest containing the mount. there were special cosmetics lootable from the raid. special cosmetics, aside from the tier gear, from PvP. the game became alive with players because there was reasons to do the world events and to run the raid multiple times. putting cosmetics behind boss walls is one thing that's kept old content 'alive' in world of warcraft. there are people still running ICC for 1 mount, 11 years later. there are still people running a dungeon for a mount. people still run old content for weapon enchants, weapon transmog. i'm always for putting free cosmetics in the game so that it's a privilege to obtain and see.

What an interesting story. Not sure if an Indie developer would have enough time to do something like this.

Assassin-mage cross type, since assassins already have bunch of weapons to use. Assassin-mage hybrid could be fun.

oh. just thought that they could be some beast of burden. hooked to wagons, sleds, plows, etc. maybe we'll need animals to grind wheat into flour.

Imho, it's a waste of resources. it's cheaper to integrate with existing software than to build your own. question is whether Discord is still doing their games integration thing. people are going to use discord anyways, might as well make it work with in game chat. maybe you can't chat in local or other public channels but you can chat with guild/alliance or any private channels created.

I had a shower thought.. while not in the shower.. what if Unity has the TTS/STT mod that DS can use? To me it would be better for the game client developer to create the TTS/STT backend and allow game developers to add it in so the games comply. Sounds like it would be a great boost for developers as one less thing they need to create and allows them to be compliant.

@crowdac i used rent and taxes as the same thing. if you don't pay that tax then you're kick out is pretty much the same as if you don't pay that rent you're kicked out. it might sound better if it's labeled as rent instead of taxes.

in today's (Dec 20, '18) update they added: We added early access games! Now, devs can release their games as early access and players like you can support them during their development. Help create some awesome game experiences! Yeehaw!
