problem is most of the people that are pro-pve believe that the beast planet should be 100% pve, which isn't how the developers are designing the game. They expect all pvp to happen on the human and demon planets during the eclipse or whenever.

stores have sales all the time. Target has a 90 day time line if a product isn't moving fast. Steam has a sale nearly every quarter.

I think the idea is great to put them on sale before removing them (or changing the perks).

you say bullying but it's part of the game. We also don't know the how often and how long the demons can get to arboreus. it could be once a real month for 4 hours or it could be every 9 hours for 1 hour or every 2 hours for 30 minutes. For me it'll be a challenge to overcome because of the reduced stats or penalties to invade.

@Finland you were correct when you said pvpers. I find it disrespectable to call all pvpers gankers/pkers. it would be similar if we called all pve'ers carebears. PvP is about player vs player, it doesn't distinguish between instanced or open world just like PvE doesn't distinguish between gathering or raids.

yes, it's easier to kill and steal than it is to work for something.

as for your PS, if you hate 7 of 10 core elements of a game then i don't see how you'll enjoy just 3 core elements.

i'll assume that any race outside of planet origins or alignment are seen as targets you can attack, ie they're always flagged for pvp.

so beast and good humans can freely target evil humans and evil demons on all planets. A beast and good human should be seen as friendly to each other.

it's being too sensitive. DS has limited funds and they need more. a cash grab would be 50%+ off. they're only offering up to 20% off which isn't much (at least on the basic packs).

Rich Presence allows chat to be simultaneously on Discord and in game. It also allows users to join a party directly from Discord. It can state where the player is, although I’d love for this to be optional.

We can use Discord as an in game voice chat also. This removes the need to develop an in house version.

GM's can have it rough.

You have to recruit. Do you spam invite and see who stays or do you invite those you grouped with or do you have an application to get to know the person.
You have to deal with drama. at some point drama will happen so you should know how to deal with it. Some guilds have a no drama rule and can kick people because of it.
You have to deal with clicks. certain people will group with certain others. this could be good or be bad.
You might have to deal with guild mergers. I haven't seen too many of these working out well.
You have to deal with people not logging on. Real life happens but usually the first month everyone is excited but it's the second month that you really see who's interested in the game.
Keeping the guild alive. It's best to have some guild event ideas handy when people start to get bored.

yeah i'm not going to continue the argument with pluto because they seem to be salty because of 1 small sale. i do wonder if they rage quit games that have cash shop sales after they purchased something.

if this gets you salty then dont play the game and request a refund. cause you know DS will just put a sale on the cash shop and you'll whine about that too.

it's a clearance item. after this i doubt we'll see tiers as good as they are. the lifetime carpenter is gone so that's a good perk going.

don't assume you can bot in safe areas. i'd highly suggest you don't bot because it'll probably be against the ToS/EULA. getting your account banned is a bigger time waster than the 3 hours you can play a day.

I don't like farming either but if I have limited time then I try to maximize it. Farm during the week and pvp on weekends. i hate people that bot [insert slander that you used against gankers/griefers/etc].

they had funding before going to kickstarter. i'm wanting to say they were working on the game for at least 1 year before the KS campaign. someone out there put some cash into the idea of the game.

using bots is the biggest risk though. if you spend cash in kickstarter you lose more. we don't know about the harvest time to craft time to fight time.

I also don't see this as a single player game in a multiple player environment. I see a group of people needing to gather while a few guard. those that gather can fight when trouble approaches. Tactics will be a huge deciding factor in Fractured.

I have to say that getting into accounts and stealing is much different than killing. that and your view on bots makes me just want to ignore you.

id imagine it's just a RP way to swap your skills and to limit how many you have have slotted at once.

IE in wow the characters memorize all of the skills. in GW the character could select only 5 and 1 elite.

Lets assume fractured will allow us to slot 6 skills. when you're near a fire you can move up to 6 skills around. There could be a few second delay to 'memorize' them.

Pay more for the privilege to invest money earlier to get less benefits.. sounds quite awesome privilege.

you aren't getting less benefits. you get the same benefits as someone getting it on sale. however, you probably entered into the game and tested a little bit, while they might not have. I'd say the person waiting on a sale, which may never happen, may only get the pack after the test period.

there was no guarantee that the packs would have ever gone on sale, at least the kickstarter packs. now creating a game is a business and offering sales is a smart business decision.
