Rudyard was a simple man. From his humble upbringing and appreciation of nature, he once saw himself as the man his father taught him to be; conscientious, beholden to the world and above all, good. However, for a world as cruel and capricious as ours, that was unlikely to remain. For once he saw what the world was capable of providing, and taking away... he perhaps became the person he once considered the nethermost. A man on the quest for power, influence and riches at the expense of qualities he once held in such high regard. Maybe this made him a beast? a god? Or maybe just a man.
