(If I'd have to guess I'd say mid October because they are busy with the store and few other things now. It will take few days to prepare for Pre-Alpha.)

you can remember this for any game.

when a major announcement happens, such as the first alpha, you can bet the developers/publishers will let everyone know. They'll tweet, reddit, post on the forums, email, even Kickstarter update. Sometimes major game websites, like MMORPG.com, will post about it. they may even buy ads for it.

You're an Ambassador so you've been here long enough that you would receive an email, at least.
