Hey guys, GamesCom 2018 is the next Tuesday 21 to Friday 24...will we get some updates from afar??

Truthfully, given where Fractured is in development, releasing information around the time of Gamescom will just cause that release to get lost in the shuffle.
Either release it just before Gamescom (and hope its memorable enough) or release it in the lull that will occur a week later.
I mean the timeline for Fractured is LONG so no need to rush.

I hadn't really thought of it that way. Kinda have a good point. There's a long road ahead of them and probably not as much to show quite yet as we'd like. So no point on trying to push them to do something they aren't ready for.

I am going to hope for a Gamescom event next year. Being so early now it would just be more of what we just saw. Next year they will have more of a product to show off. With continued development and more people discovering the game I think it will be in a good spot by this time next year, people will be on the look out for it and create a buzz around the booth, you kind of need that to attract even more people. I hope they plan for it!

But being on gamescom could also help get the word of the game out and possibly get some more backers to the game too.

I think, he want to look for more backers, some other interested Studios and maybee potential helpers for the project
I will be also at the Gamescom tomorrow, so let's have a look if we see Jacopo or each other

It does look like a cool convention, would love to be there also. E3 has become such a sham, sad, they should make a new one in the USA.

This time no big Gamescom updates, it's a tad too early - but we'll definitely have a proper booth next year!
I'm personally already at Gamescom for some business meetings and whatnot tho, so check out this thread if you're there too!
