Player bounty boards (PVP)

@jetah Fractured is a game not real life!
-
and? honestly i'm wanting to know why you said that.
to me spys, pvp, sieges, are all apart of the game. you keep your information safe, share that info with certain trusted people or change it a little to find the spy.
-
@jetah people plays to have fun not to simulate something and get frustrated.
-
spying is fun, though. the spy is there for their guild/allegiance not the for guild they've joined.
-
You have to look at the other side if you want be neutral instead of limited.
Spy may look funny. Be spied not! I think I could stop answering things like this and sit.. and wait till laugh like I'm doing to those tha was saying the same things 1-2 years ago on albion forum. Rember the target you want i care about a game with a big/enourmus player base. I'm right nearly always I now better then you the trend

Eve Online has no problem with spys, Fractured shouldn't also. Who's to say people aren't using skype, discord, etc to relay info anyways. Espionage is apart of war and full loot pvp is war. War has tactics, spies are tactics.
I agree but it shouldnt be as easy as switching character. Thats just a bunch of ballocks lol. Real spies have to work at it, it takes time and effort, as it should especially if you want to do something as big as bring down a guild or faction. Being able to do it with such ease ruins the whole idea behind it.

Eve players shoul stay there (what I think, what I hope) otherwise will happen the same as AO. EvE got a big pool of players to kill so players moves out to try new games but cause of the low population they move back to eve to enjoy kills. Meanwhile lots of new games are dying around . Sandbox full loot the new era! Yeah the new era of dead niche games .
Try to think a guild that spend 3 years building up a settlement then you arrive to destry 3 years of work! Ragequit called. The only way to enjoy something like that is free resources and no time to build up.
these are my fears.
-
and it will happen. that's what this game is about.
people get bored with eve just like you did with wow, so they find some of the same system: no levels, full loot, pvp.

Exactly. 10 months. They used their main characters, no alts to 'spy'. They gained their trust and where at THEIR level. Thats exactly what im saying, you want to spy on beastkin being a demon? Gain their trust by becoming redeemed.
-
easier to roll an alt for small spy games. besides that person was paid! to seek revenge they happened upon a corporation with billions in assets.
-
The idea is nice but can easily be exploited.
Like someone is a terrible person and gets a high bounty, then just go to a friend strip off all items so you wont lose anything and let him kill you and then split the money between each other.
-
@evolgrinz yup... now that you put it in our faces, re-spawn kind of makes bounties meaningless.
-
Oh damn, i like the idea of bountybords.
But there should be dependencies, to prevent that some people see it as a big fun to set random people on the board.Dependencies could be a special count of people need to vote for a bounty or some previous crime actions lead to an entry to the bountyboard.
No clue how the developement could setup this.
-
doesn't sound like an exploit to me...

LOL, thats exactly what an exploit is.. the point of a bounty system is a punishment system. There is no punishment there lol.

but there is no frame for 'small spy games' when it could just be a big spy game with just switching to an alt. There was no effort there.
-
person puts bounty on a player. player gets friend to claim it. i don't see that as an exploit.
-
@jetah because there is no punishment on the player who had the bounty on them. That circumvents the whole purpose.
-
whole purpose is threat. if your friend or guild or possible enemy is there to claim it then it is doing its purpose. sure you could remove the gear but your friend wouldn't take it anyways (unless others are in the area).
-
No its not? A bounty system is to hunt down and kill them. The threat just comes with the territory. When the police place a warrant for someone, its not to threaten them, its to capture them and bring punishment.
