How will work the repair system?

I loved principle of gear crafting in the secret world, form the aspect of being able to customize it with stats that you wished.
I would love being able to distribute stats on my gear while crafting it. The more crafting effort, the more liberal customization ability.
With fixed number of total stats available ofc.

Aye. I was trying to say that they wouldn't allow us to mix the crafting material when actually doing the crafting, but that I am hoping that later on they will allow us to mix the materials for ALL crafting items to increase the diversity of the items being made and not just cookie cutter items each time.

As long as items do not degrade in stats as they degrade and the degradation isn't so quick that I have to switch out gear so often it seems all I do is craft.

@Razvan why not? it should just adjust the stats.

it would be nice if items that lose all durability didn't independently vanish but rather become a crude version of it's self with very diminished stats or negative stats in some cases
[Rusted] (Armors, metal, ect)
[Chipped] (maces, swords, ect)
[Frayed] (strings, cloth armor, bows)
[Cracked]
[Depleted] (Magic staffs, enchants)
[Faded] (Scrolls)That way you wont be immdently left with nothing, but would be very ideal to remove the armor/weapon or replace it asap.
Items as such should be rejected for sale and can only be scrapped/ dropped to be deleted.

It would be nice if with scraping old gear it would be possible to get some material back like "Scraping a bow = chance to get wood or a bow string..."

@FluffKugel i still dream with bardic scraping: you can recover the tales of the weapon/armor and forge titles like ''reforged blade of the onslaught''.

At least let us recycle Cut down on ore processing, etc.?
