Could we get some information of the people behind the game, as I don't see a people behind the game in the FAQ or elsewhere on the site? Eventually you'll be posting a request for funds/funding via Kickstarter, and while the game and concept seems great, I want to know of the people.
- Are there any dev's from other games that we'll recognize?
- How did DS get funding to get to where we are now?
- How much did DS get to get the development started.
- Any chance to see a live stream before Kickstarter?

CF should teach you how devs with some profile can develop as shit ;). Just trust people and give the chance to try, otherwise our only hope for games is Blizzard. The only real gameing house

I played UO and trust Gordon because he's been in the industry a long while. Todd helped Shadowbane which was released in '03. These two gentlemen have years in the industry. I trust them because of their length in the business. The crowfall website even has an About the Team page to give you more information about the people behind the game. Fractured has nothing at this point. At best I could look up the business name and see who's on the business license but that person might not be active in building the game.

@Jetah I don't trust them anymore, since the annouce of the portal to comunicate between maps. (you can call hem continets but it's the same). I was expecting a really big "non instaced" world.

@Jetah yeah we are goin off topic no point to argue about that shit choice (also if there will not be a loading screen) I prefer a big map with 20+ regions connected without a teleport system.

according to this post a continent will be slightly bigger than the size of NA.
1 CF continent is 26.21 million km2
The North American Continent is 24.71 million km2So yeah, slightly bigger than Canada, the US, and Mexico combined.
anyways. I'd still like to know the people behind the game.

@Jetah we have a huge website update in store - once we roll it out, there will be more info about us too. Anyway, we're a young team - some us were involved in the development of the indie MMORPG Linkrealms, others in games of very different genres.
No, there's no "industry legend" among us - that's why we're going to fill this expected "trust gap" by showing you actual MMO gameplay before Kickstarter rather than only concept art, screenshots, short clip of characters walking in a nice environment, and the like

Sounds good, i look forward to get you known.
Its always a good thing to get more informations about the Creators, because that binds the community and the Devs together. It's like "Look, they are same nerds like me, i love them!"

Not only. Also the way they stand with the community, the way they listen to it. Basically the way they relate with the players. It's really awesome when devs want to have a chat with a tester/feedbacker to talk about the game, especially when they enjoy it ;).

Exactly. And the Loyality to the game and its creators are more close, if we get a bit more in contact than just being a game between many made by someone unknown.

I've seen so far only one concrete game in the past 18 years so I'm not going to argue this
