Are you a PVP or PVE player?
-
Both to the full extent.
PvP and PvE offer different challenges, and require different skills from player. I like to challenge myself, and progress in all aspects of the game.
Games that manage to fuse together PvP and PvE are especially fun for me. For example Archeage, trade routes, excorting goods that are made in PvE and needed for PvE, but you need to PvP to accomplish your goals and reach your destination. Or contested world boss fights, and other similar fusion of PvP and PvE.
PvE and PvP, when separated from each other (PvP battlegrounds, PvE raids) can also be engaging and fun, but it is (imho) much more fun when they are interconnected and fused together.

I prefer PvE.

I love to kill everyone and grief all day. Making people mad makes me happy.

MMO without drama and QQ is a boring MMO.

I'm a PVE player

What @Gothix said
-
Mostly PVE, but depending on the game I'll work with PVP as well. Mostly what Kellewic drags me into.
However, I did like Archage and their combination. I had 2 houses and several boats. One house in the islands in PVP territory and one in safety. We even managed to put together a tractor before we didn't have time to play. The water combat or evading was especially fun.
Another PVP game that I really like I forget the name of it now but we both played Furies. Casters that finally had a bit of kick to them... until they didn't

I like to have the option. Not every day I'm in the mood to be on edge in an open pvp world. That's one reason I think I'll like this game, it looks like it's structured to let a person stay out of PvP if they want and jump back in right away when they want.
-
I think both, depends on the mood
-
PvE. I like to craft and build and kill monsters with like minded people
-
Then either Arabeos the beat planet or the human one are something for you. The beast one is mainly about corporation.
-
I'm usually more of a PVE focused player, I do like my occasional PVP encounters. Sometimes open world PVP can be fun, but I don't enjoy the "Survival" style of PVP, such as Rust. Typically, I like to pick when I PVP vs being vulnerable to be in PVP at anytime during game-play.
-
will probably do both but focus more on pvp
-
PvE for me .
-
Absolutely stoked to steamroll some scrubs as a demon. Y'all best watch out.
-
@kagero Yeah, same for me.
Probably gonna be a beatmen here.
We still can "join" the humans on their server, to repel the demons.Which will most likely be the main PvP event for us.
But we won't be "well a demon just pooped up there and ganked me" like the humans, even outside these invasions.I fear. That PvPers will be demons, but the demon planet will be quite live less.
Pvpers want to kill "weak prey" not fight with other bloodthirsty guys over scraps xD.
We will see.
-
Both of them
-
@greenfox PvPers always look for the strongest competition. Practically any game with a dedicated PvP base is all about 1 vs X if it is possible in any way. I hope Fractured will keep this in mind; a high skill cap and low skill floor game makes for a great long lasting game. A low skill cap game with a high skill floor pretty much only appeals to casuals and requires a constant influx of new players while the old ones get bored and leave.
-
Yep. High skill cap allows for additional player progress.
When you will max your knowledge and professions, you will not feel like you've done it all. Setting skill cap to very high, and steep learning curve, will still allow you to still keep progressing your personal playing skills.

@basileus
Atm it seems to heavily relay on skills of the user, combat that is.And if you get bored or not, is more of a User based thing. You cant make everyone happy.
Who will you feed:
-gankers?
-wannabe Noob Shmashers?
-PvP arena style?
-Open World Siegelers
-etc etc.Atm it looks to be a good mix. With focus on Open World PvP, where sieges of castles/towns for priviliges or control of areas might be key.
