Are you a PVP or PVE player?

@jetah I don't like zone or global chat; they're full of idiots and spam bots and they destroy anything resembling immersion. There should be a dedicated party- & guild-finding system and as little opportunity for gold nets to advertise as possible.
It sounds like you have problems with everything that makes a multiplayer game multiplayer.
I block the spam and those that act like children.

PVE Grinding!!!
-
PVP, Ill take your lunch sir
-
pve

PVE with a guild is a good base to start, PVP is the mid/endgame, the final goal of a game imo. I don't like only pve game, they become boring pretty fast.
-
PvE! Explore the map.

Join my cause PvErs and let's go defend the innocents from the murderers

but there are no innocents in war.

@Jetah War exists only because someone want to start it I go for the peace tho.
-
As a casual player, I am really a pve player who rather enjoys not being forced into pvp.
-
@finland i play games for excitement and adventure. i life a peaceful enough life.
-
Well it's you and not me so let us play the way we want
-
PVE for me, I don't have the reflexes and wits to deal with fighting other players all the time. At least with PVE once I have the gameplay figured out I'm pretty much good to go.
-
Iām more into PvP, open world or Realm vs Realm, but also like immersing myself into a good PvE story.
-
I prefer the PVE, but i want play making 100% of the game.
So... I'll make both.
-
PvE, definitely. I far and above prefer PvE in any MMO. But PvP has its place as well. I dislike the concept of player-killing, being able to come up and kill any player you like without consequence. Black Desert made a decent start on how to handle that, but I don't think it was enough. Things like tournaments, guild wars, dueling and the like, on the other hand, are harmless fun. Totally voluntary PvP is always the way to go.

Usually much prefer PVE, but sometimes really enjoy coordinated group PvP with guildies working on objectives that could affect the world (ahh, now reminiscing my ole DAoC days!) 1v1 stresses me out too much. Since I game to unwind from RL stress, I tend to avoid it.
-
PVE is my preferred play
-
I mostly enjoy PVP but it doesn't bother me to sink hours into PVE
-
70% PVE, and 30% PVP
