💡 Suggestion | Extra Races?
-
Yea but for sure you have racial stats dragons are dragons so was a suggestion in case of a new planet for the future. I hope to not see drakes with demons
-
@esher said in Suggestion | Extra Races?:
@finland Ah, that depend of our representation of a fae ^^ It could be a fae with scales and a head who looks like a drake head ^^
@Mazikar Your dragon-kin, will they have wings ? It could be interesting to have some winged races, it will change a lot compared with usual races ^^
The Wyvern and Fae would have wings but the Drake would be land bound with a marked advantage at swimming. So many things that could be done with a realm of dragons wouldn't you say?
-
@Mazikar well extra planets is something not planned by devs.. nut never say never.. could be an expension for the future
-
@mazikar Yes, sure ^^ we could do several association with creatures of this realm ^^
And I try something for the drake fae Didn't finished her yet, I don't know what she can wear ^^ (and there is some problems, maybe )
-
@Esher we are going to deep . Let s see what we get at launch. Nice drow anyway. Fea-dragon like puck of dota2 would be cool
-
@Finland I know but you launched me on it, I'll never stop to think ^^
-
Yeah.. never stop the dream! Use all your fantasy
-
I want to see dragons in the sky and fantasy creatures in the woods irl
-
@Esher Hehehe your going too over now and dreaming too much. Step back but.. yeah tha would be funny tho
-
So cool It's a good Idea mostly for the beastmens and the demons
-
i go with elf,dwarf,fae,halfling
-
Really want this idea. Almost games, dragons are enemies and not playable characters.
-
The problem with playing as a dragon is simple: Every single person will want to play dragon.
That's because dragons are objectively the best living things, which is why they are usually grossly overpowered boss monsters. If you're playing as a little dragon, or as a "half-dragon" or "dragonborn" type character, then it could probably work.

Anyway I think that fae does not suit good for a drake race
Rhubarb (my avatar) is based on the concept of a fae dragon. Got the idea from this silly creature from Everquest II:
-
@FibS Sorry but I hope that all races in the future well keep some kind of humanoid stile so about fea I prefer tha classic ;). anyway that pic looks like more a butterfly-dragon :P. If you scroll up you will find my idea of a dragon race ;).
By the way thank you for givin suggestions :). I really love to see more ideas
-
I never understood why people want to play a dragon. But i guess thats because they think dragons are the most unbeatable creatures.
And in this case i agree, they should stay as NPC/Monster/Bosses.
Except a game would just created in case of a story about dragons.
But imagine the problem of Armour/Cosmetics, imagine the female dragons, just with a bikini like Armour. That would look very silly
-
@Kralith You missed my pic on the 1st page there's an example of an hybrid humanoid-dragon
-
@kralith I love dragons (and snakes and most of the animals with scales ), not because they're "unbeatable" ^^ Dragons are a myth everybody knows, si I'd love to play a humanoid dragon (yes, not a dragon as we see in most of the movies or games ^^)
-
@esher Awww yes, Snakes! And Spider! Want to have!
-
there's only 1 game I know of where you can play as a dragon. You start as a hatchling then you add gear, resources to your hoard, this provides extra stats and is consumed to grant buffs to your abilites. once your hoard is a certain level, you can go on a quest to become a full dragon which can fly. They also get a spell/ability that changes them into a biped (to fit in buildings). After their hoard increases more they can change into an ancient dragon.
Dragons had lairs as their player homes which was pretty sweet.
-
well the basic model should be humanoid plus outlines from other races like dragons etc ;). I would not play a fully dragon char and would make no sense
