Foundation chests

I'm wondering/hoping foundation chests could become chest skins once opened, I personally really like the chests look and would like to use them in my house.
I would also be happy with buying a copy of them in the fractured store.
If you would rather not give them away for fee

why not the box exist as an item while containing the random item inside. we can use the chest as storage in our house! maybe opening the chest requires us to have a house (incentive to build a house!) before opening.
(i'd like to put the skin on all the boxes in my house too!)

@Jetah i dont think it will work that way... they look more like loot chests in games that are there to draw in tonnes of money from people trying to get super rare drops.

that might be their original intent but that can change. they can hand chest items out to the founders and just sell skins of other designs.

Not a bad idea to have these as skins, for those who want them.

if they do... i wonder if they'd add a gold chest... coz bronze and silver almost always pair with gold... like olympics...

Perhaps only if they require special crafting materials to apply the skin, so that they're really a cosmetic addition that you're working for.

In general people will want items that make them look
bettermore unique then their neighbours, if its not the bigger car on the driveway, its the bling of the furniture (chests).I am all up for it ! As long as some human or demon is not able to steal it

i like that you can't buy the item though (at least not now). it's a foundation item, thus you have to be active to a point to get it.
the foundation could be reset in beta or release and new cosmetics released which could make the chest unique to those that were here longer.

i dont think they will re-release the foundation or something based on it. they seem pretty set on removing it completely.

i think it's a pretty unique system that makes these forums active. otherwise i'd be on reddit or ignoring it like the 5 other games i've backed.

Forums will be active when there is development activity. Then people will comment on changes, etc.
Of course, if this gets stall for a while, activity will also drop a bit. Less talk. But will again become more active, once new changes come. This is perfectly normal.

@Pwnstar i kinda do too. would make sense. coz even the beta testers that didn't get to test the alpha possibly bought a founder's pack just like all the alpha testers did. They will still (hopefully) be looking for issues with the game and being part of the foundation of the beginning of the game.

With only 24k users with a TF1 or higher rank on the forums (no idea how many copies/packs/pledges are sold) I think this game deservesd a lot more exposure, where the foundation helps with several of its quest (sharing news, recruiting friends, ambassador drawing) . So it would make sence to keep it, at least until we hit beta or even longer as long as it has its purpose.

they might add a skin for in game chests that mimic the foundation items if enough people ask for it.
Otherwise i'm sure it will remain separate for the fact it needs to look good to sell good.Despite only being available via the foundation atm. it's sure to be in the shop at launch, otherwise they would not have bothered creating them in the first place.
They would have simply given you specific items as a foundation reward.
