Alpha 1.2 Download link question

Hi there.
Is the Alpha 1.2 download link happening today? or do we update our old clients to the new state? Will it be available today to beat the bandwidth rush? Or will it happen/be available last second sort of thing?
Please let me know/thanks.

i assume it'll be posted to email, twitter, kickstarter and the forums... when it's ready, you'll know.

The link is coming tomorrow, most likely shortly before or at the start of the second test. New builds are still being pushed to the server so there's no point in letting you install it now.

I'm excited about seeing the new / self contained / non spatial launcher / installer.
But, of course, also new creatures, spells, and crafting.

Hmmm I'm getting ideas about new forum addon that would (if you activate it) ring the alarm once important update comes.
That way you could go to bed, and wake up when its time!

@Gothix The launcher is pretty basic and unless they've changed it, it's a placeholder. Most of us are still logging in using the standard SpatialOS launcher but the rudimentary launcher will be offered as an alternative.

Just to clarify, will those of us who have participated in the first alpha be required to download the client again?

SO excited to win an alpha test key. Really appreciate the chance to play and learn this game in development. I'm at UTC-7 so it's around 3pm in Europe as I'm typing and not seeing a link on the webpage I can use for the code. Will log in tomorrow morning and hope that others will already be playing and posting about their experiences so I can learn from them.
