Underground Nodes

I was just wondering if there is any possibility that city nodes might expand to the underworld? I always liked the idea of the UnderDark in D&D lol.

Ooh, I love the idea of an underground world! More unique resources, enemies, biomes, house plots, ruins, temples, and dungeons, plus entrances to the surface (so more ways to travel across the continents).
And yeah, the UnderDark was awesome in D&D.
-
this needs to be a Tartaros thing.. only.
-
Why? I could see underground crystal and mushroom forest biomes on Arboreus, water-carved caverns on Syndesia, and a lava hell on Tartaros.
-
i was thinking for living zones. mostly underground = underworld = necro which i suspect the demons would love.
yeah the crystal and whatnot could work on the other 2 planets.
-
Or if underground would be too consuming (development wise), perhaps mini portals that lead to different dimension, same place, different dimension... with perhaps different environmental rules that affect your character in specific ways in those dimensions...
Plenty of possibilities.

I played a game with playable dragons and they has lairs, which were underground housing. was pretty neat concept and I haven't seen any game do it or similar since.
-
What, three planets and virtually countless planetoids are not enough to you?
-
I mean... if there is no underground... where does all the poop go?

@Meiki Oh yea definitely something for an expansion. I wouldn't want to see the base game side tracked.
-
Or for example city's build on the ruines of former civilizations which you could explore and raid for artifacts and so on.... and maybe trigger something that threatens the city aboth. Mhm endless possibilities for expansions.
-
Basics first, this is something I'd like to see further down along the game's lifespan but not something I'd expect at the start.

I would like to see underworld as well and I think it would be something that can be left for future expansions. This is especially good way to expand the current world without adding more landmass. Ashes of Creation is actually adding some underworld content, which looked pretty nice concept tbh.

@Belligero
just fyi, talk is cheap. no one expects any suggestion or idea to be added pre-release.
