@muker @Kralith hmm an extracurricular enlistment of new people. Something's afoot.
Behind the curtains selected countries are being armed, US exiting agreements, these extra enlistments... we might actually see some escalation soon. It's just the question where.

@Gothix No, we just have a call-up from 18 to 27 years, you can certainly hang, but 2 options standard - health problems, or buy it for 200-300 k rub (2,8 K - 4,3 K $). I want to clarify that wages for people without education 280-430 $ in the best case and we're running out of young workers because of lack of time and that I am now talking about the capital.
So we just spend a year in the void because of the desire of the state.

@muker we have similar call up also 18-27. Our options are military service or civil service.
Military service, you go somewhere to military base, and you are away from home for many months.
Civil service, you are at home, but you do civil service in some state civil institution (like normal work hours). Later on you are trained for civilian rescue service. First aid, rescue equipment... so in case of some natural emergency you can be called to help people get out of ruins etc.

@Gothix Military service during the year (recruits). Under the contract 2,3,5 years too on military base. Civil service is almost impossible, you are almost in any case sent to the region.
