If there will be a lot of different kind of variations for stats/traits, that will also mean there will be a good amount of different mount variations as well. Even this is kind of a good thing, it might cause stacking problems, when most mounts needs own slot. This will fill up all invetory and markets spaces fast and makes lists long and hard to read. This same goes with any other crafting and producted items as well.
However, if there won't be much tier levels and the breeding system won't be too complex, then breeding can be good option to make differencies between horses/mounts.

I am not sure will there be breeding, but raising animals and mounts would make sense. Cattle is needed for cooking and mounts are needed as much as other items and gear pieces.

@Meiki That is exactly how I testified this to myself. You can be evil and be in favor of Babilis or get help from Tyros to live in Tartaros. Here is copy from Feature Spotlight #6
Unlike Beastmen, Humans are generally tolerated by Babilis, who sees a potential for corruption in them. They arenβt directly penalized like Beastmen, but slowly lose Karma over time, unless they enjoy the protection of another God. Tyros, for instance, grants total immunity from the influence of Babilis β but of course, that comes at a price too. While the dark God is not able to reach their souls, it is more than willing to let its children do the dirty job! That is why, one hour after stepping on the planet, the presence of any protegee of Tyros is made known to all Demons in the area!
Actually Babilis could give demon players quests and task to find Demon Hunters and try to end their acts. She would most certainly want heads of masters for example.

Well now you presumed that Arena would be something where you can queue from everywhere. If there would be an Arena, then the queue should be possible only inside town/city. That would remove possibility to safe AFK.
Full loot arena system would be even worse, because then people do not need to leave town/city to collect gear and make profit that way.
Some kind of arena system could work in Fractured, because this game focuses to cater different kind of players anyway. It can easily be non-loot battleground focused for training and it could help especially those PvE centric players to test out PvP. So it could promote some people to participate more to PvP side of the game. Also groups and guilds could train party combos there.
Even Albion has arena, not sure if needed though, but in Fractured it might work. Some people can argue that it effects negatively to open world PvP, but I am not so sure about that. It can also promoto it.
So IF arena would be a thing in Fractured. I hope it is non-loot, focused on training, no rewards or only cosmetics at most. Also arena could be a building that is needed to build in town/city before you can queue from there.

I guess the headline was a little bit misleading here, because guild wars are rarely tide in MMORPGs on small 1v1 or 3v3 battles. In Albion Online GvG fights are mostly done via 5v5 environment, but those matches are almost all full loot and something that only part of the guilds have chance to do. What you are asking is something, which is somehow against Fractured DNA and most likely something what we are not going to see. However, there will be battles (sieges) where guilds are fighting control of towns and cities. Imo even that 5v5 would be too small scale battle when conquering whole towns.
Like @Lucio said, there might be some kind of arena, but if there would be, it can easily be totally out from guild wars and is more like for training or for having fun. Maybe some kind of ladders could be implemented with cosmetic rewards for example.

If you mean by breeding only mixing two different animals (still same race) together and getting new kind of form, it can be, that this kind of feature will not be even implemented. I am not against your idea and I think it would be cool, but it might make the system too complex. I have no idea what devs have planned, but I presume that breeding (raising) cattle and mounts would be part of farming activities. Because almost all items will be crafted by players, we can presume, that this would be the case with horses and other mounts too.
Quite basic system would be, that breeder can buy, tame and/or find different kind of animal pups, which you can raise (feed) in your farm and after X amount of days those are full grown. After animal (mount in this case) is full grown you can still make difference for stats depending what kind of saddle, bags, horseshoes, armor you are going to attach to that animal. Those all things are of course also player crafted.
You talked about mount traits, what you exactly meant by that? I presume mounts have these primary stats; Hitpoints, speed, armor and carry weight. It would be cool if some mounts would have special active abilitites on top of those passive stats.

Actually it would be really cool if cities and towns would need to defend from NPC attacks. This could be especially a thing in Arboreus where conquers are not happening from players behalf.

Maybe if their motive would be protect citizens, but in my concept they are driven by hate and revenge. So they want to be there where they have more preys.
I would not categorize generally hunters to group who only chase weaker than they are. In fantasy genre there is a lot of different kind slayers and hunters which are after more powerful creatures than themselfs, so I would not focus too much on word hunter itself.
Moreover, the whole idea was create meaningful PvE content primarily for demon players and that core idea will be lost if Demon Hunters are moved away from Tartaros.

RE: Funding
I would also leave faster travelling options out from convenience matter. Simply because fast/faster traveling can give advantage almost for everything e.g. PvP, character progression, gathering, economics.. It would be closer P2W rather than convenience.

RE: Similiar games to fractured.
Albion Online is quite close even there are good amount of differencies as well. Both are sandbox MMORPGs with player driven economy and moba styled combat. So the starting point and frames are very similar, but content a lot different.
There is also Legends of Aria from the same genre, but I have not tested that out myself.

NPC factions are quite standard in MMORPGs, but of course the size of the factions varys a lot from each other. Some might have a huge centric role where others have minor part. So it depends totally of the situation how depth faction concept is neaded. NPC factions are always much more interesting enemies than random drop mobs without any reasonable background.
I do not see NPC factions that complicated, maybe those needs more planning and work to implement, but most likely those will give more value for the game world.
Btw, what you meant by "driven events"?

Actually why not. It is important to create meaningful PvE content. People in Arboreus needs enemies and fighting against demons (NPC) would make sense. It is relatively easy to build some dungeons/raids around that theme.

I was thinking that those tactical points/objectives should have some kind of theme and different meaning and not just capture flag. I guess something like you mentioned or barracks, guard towers, warehouses and things like that. There could be somekind of reward (buff or debuff) when you capture a tactical objective. Medical facility may give controllers slight HP regeneration bonus just for an example. Important part is that those buffs and debuffs makes sense from objective point of view.
