The max character creation attribute stat is 18 for human. The rest of the stat increases (for humans) has to be done through gear and talents.

I have the feeling that dwellings will be quite different between planets if not for the mere fact that resources will be different between planets. Arboreus is going to be heavily wooded, Tartoros is going to be barren, and Syndesia is suppose to be somewhere in between those two. With that said, I see Arboreus having a lot of Wood dwellings that do not take from the beauty of the land around them. Tartaros, as much as I would like them to be underneath the ground, will most likely be made of stone and not wood as water will be scarce on that planet.

We have yet to see anything from the other planets, but it is my hope that the devs (especially with their ability to hire more staff now) will make the cities completely different between planets. Also, it is stated in the articles that only Humans have a tech tree like they do as that is their "specialty" where as Beastman have nature powers on their planet and Demons have passive powers on their planet.

Progression between characters is NOT transferred between other characters in any way other than Housing Plots are Account bound (which means that once a character buys a plot of land, all characters for that account must use that plot of land on that planet)

You could have up to 28 in a stat thanks to gear like troll hide and heavy armor which gave you +1 stat for each piece worn.

Yes. Smelting will still take a few hours to do, however you are able to smelt on your own parcel of land now.

Depends on the size of the hole, but usually the holes are not that big.

Oh!!! You ment for the client! They aren't usually all that big in size (Maybe a few megs), but sometimes can get hung up and take a few minutes to perform.
