So the Governor can remove a building that has already been built? I know we can remove blueprints before they are finished, but not the completed structure. Of course I am just a Vice-Governor, but as long as Governors can remove completed buildings, then we are good

We also need the ability to "REMOVE BUILDINGS" !!!!!

RE: City Management Feedback Thread
Aye... Cities are way too small. Is it even possible to build enough buildings within the city boundaries in order to get the highest Rank????
Tech Tree is a joke. Sorry. it is. With the way it is currently implemented NO ONE will want to make a Shrine (except maybe Evil cities), a Bank (Except maybe evil cities), A Market, a herbarlist or Farming cause ALL of their tech points have to go into the must haves! Defense, Armor, Weapons and Enchanting. I personally believe the tech tree should deal with things that are not mandatory to have and instead greatly increase the value of the city. It has been to my understanding that Syndesia is all about their "tech", this is what distinguishes them from the other planets. So we need "tech" that other planets literally just can not have. It has been stated by Michele (Suit) said that armor and weapons across planets will be comparable. Therefore, these should NOT be hidden behind a tech tree unless it allows the making of :"Armor" and "weapons" that are BETTER than what is capable of being made on other planets.
Also, Residents SHOULD NEVER HAVE CRAFTING STATIONS INSIDE OF THEIR PLOTS! This totally defeats the city permissions as I have stated several times before and will keep stating until the devs wise up. Also.. processing stations are worthless within a city due to current permissions and no-logging.
A city chat would totally be helpful to contact all citizens and residents at one time (even if they are not currently in the local area)
A resident log to know who is who and the ability to kick residents out is definitely needed.
Prestige wise.. buildings that take Research Points on to make should give a lot more prestige. And the more points you have to spend on being able to make that building should largely increase that's building's prestige as well.

RE: Change to Syndesia, the true mix of PvE and PvP?
Personally.. I think the Devs are actually trying to have too much on Syndesia. It's hard enough to make a valid game that caters to both solo players and group players. It's extremely hard to cater to PvX. Them trying to do both, I think is really just unfeasable. Syndesia should not be solo friendly, cause you really just can not have solo friendly with open PvP. If they want that, then open PvP has to be nixed and stick strictly with the "Militia" and Siege aspects. Quite frankly, being a middle gamestyle, I feel that Militia and Siege mechanics is ALL they need PvP wise for Syndesia... as this means that solo play is possible and PvP is possible as well as optional compared to Arboreus where it does not exist and Tartoros where it is mandated

RE: Young player protection
Yup... Syndesia is going to be the home for gankers. sure enough, cause they can't actually PvP with the real pvp players. Way to tell the difference? these are the players like Tor that only fight people when they are engaged with other mobs and actually have the mobs do more damage to the player then they actually do. Saw his video, was totally unimpressed. You can clearly see how he actually would have lost a lot of those fights if not for the boss mobs.

RE: Let's talk business! (And the lack of it)
There are no markets cause research points are too valuable, in fact I would say that you won't even have Shrines or banks built the next go around. They really need to modify the Tech Tree.

RE: 3 Planets, 3 Different Games?
Seeing that non-human races are Alignment bound and that the planets are alignment bound... I would think that the transformations would start to live on the planets that they are aligned for. Angel must be Good therefore they would need to reside on Arboreus, Abominations are Evil and therefore will need to live on Tartoros, Liches (at one point were suppose to be Neutral but with the removal of that alignment completely, they will most likely be Evil) will probably be able to remain living on Syndesia with no change.
Of course, it is also feasible that all transformations would need to live on Syndesia since it alone allows all the alignments.

RE: Bounty Hunting & Jails - Official Feedback Thread
You all seem to be doing it again. Let's all get back on track. No need for trying to defend anything, it just keeps the issue from being able to die out.

RE: Bounty Hunting & Jails - Official Feedback Thread
No. A demon can not live on Syndesia. (An Angel may be able to, but not a demon)
And a demon can only stay on Arboreus for a total of 30 minutes.
How they actually end up enforcing this policy is still unknown, but the devs have stated that races can only "live" on their own planets.

RE: Bounty Hunting & Jails - Official Feedback Thread
We may be looking at this in the wrong way as well... If we break to the core, we can better understand the mentality for each world I believe.
To me, PvP players want to PvP because there is more challenge to killing an actual player rather than a mindless mob. To me, these are the true player vs player players. These people will also choose Tartoros because it will give them the best players to fight against as they will all be skilled players.
For the people who literally do not like PvP, these people will choose Arboreus as there is no PvP on that planet.
Now... Syndesia. If the people who like PvP go to Tartoros and the people who do not like PvP at all go to Arboreus, then who is left on Syndesia?? The people left here are 1) Those who like to PvP with their PvE. and (this next one is the crutch) 2) The Gankers. People who are unskilled at killing players and therefore get their highs from griefing other players who hold the least amount of abilitiy to hurt them. This means training mobs to the group, attacking a group while they are engaged in fights with mobs, and killing noobs. I believe we can ALL say that these are the players who give PvP a very bad name and nobody (except themselves) actually like.
Currently, everyone is having to play on Syndesia due to the lack of the other systems being in placed, however once those other planets are opened... I think Syndesia will be like I mentioned above. Due to this, a tough crime system does need to be in place to keep the "gankers" in control, however it should not penalize true pvpers who are not ganking but actually doing pvp properly. (One reason I like Lineage's and AoC's method for handling griefing)
So with this in mind, maybe we can come up with a better system that works for Syndesia now.

RE: Bounty Hunting & Jails - Official Feedback Thread
Another solution is to do what AoC is doing and having the pvp flags toggled manually only.. if a player does not toggle their pvp flag on and the attacker still kills them, then that attacker gets major penalties, if on the other hand the player does toggle their flag then no penalties are aquired.

Grass in your house
This is an old bug that seems to still be prevalent even until today. Grass is showing through the floor of buildings. Kinda makes the building look run down and trashy.

RE: Bounty Hunting & Jails - Official Feedback Thread
I posted this in the other thread.... but thought it would work well here since this is the official one....
As long as there is PvP allowed, there should be nothing to keep people from going that route... and they shouldn't be forced to stay away from it. Which is why I came up with the levels of looting options which will allow a person to say just how far they want to go with PvP and sticks with the "risk/rewards". The greater the risk, the chance of the greater reward, but if you don't go that risk you can never get that full reward.
They could implement a looting system where each player chooses their looting style (full loot, no loot, one item, gear only, random item) and when a player is killed the "lesser" looting system would be used. In other words, if one person have "One Item" loot and was killed by a "Full Loot" then only 1 item would be taken, if the 1 loot person killed the full loot still only 1 item would be taken. However, if two full loot players fought, then the winner would have "full loot" ability.
It doesn't stop someone from being killed. But mobs can kill a player just as easily. Allowing loot settings allows a non-combatant to keep their loot that they farmed hours for. Also..loot options should be just like alignment settings... either a one time deal or only changeable at shrines/jails.Personally, I think the bail time/amount plus loot options would be a good fit. However, the time and bond cost needs to be balanced a lot better than it is, and if the loot option is implemented, then the bail time/bond would drastically decrease in cost.
In regards to wagons.. I think they pretty much should be able to be stolen in full.

The other possible option for "crime" is to give greater penalties to people who pk people with a whole lot less KP than they have and lesser when the kp's are closer to even. The problem with this is... you don't know how much KP the other person has and its like playing russian roullett.

Automatically Buildings does not work sometimes
I have noticed this bug many times this alpha and never have in the past alphas. When putting up stone columns or walls, once the last item has been placed my character will just stand there and do nothing and I have to manually select the "build" option instead of it doing it automatically.
Also... I have noticed a few times where it does not allow me to place what I am holding into the blueprint. I have to lay it down and try again to actually place it.

RE: Bounty Hunting & Jails - Official Feedback Thread
I think the bounty system is fine. Most the grief you are getting are from people who should be playing Tartoros and not Syndesia in the first place. However, I do also agree with @Jahlon that the amount for bail may be a bit too steep for minor infractions, though major infractions should be heavily punished. It's the first go around for the bailout system, so of course there would be problems and we will just have to figure out the proper balance needed.
With that said, I disagree with @Jahlon in the time behind bars.... I think it is perfectly fine for a day or 2 behind bars for major infractions... minor infractions... yeah.. half an hour increments would be satisfactory.
So, your crime system is fine... it just needs a few adjustments is all.
