Not concerned.
Why would one be concerned when one can see the progress results in practice.

Humans, because of likely mostly populated and traversed planed, most traffic, most pvp opportunity, especially organized pvp with ability of zone control by guilds. Also technology.
Yeah, as Ostaff mentioned, there is already a plan for gates to be only temporary, resource costly, and resource cost will depend from which planet you are traveling and to where.
However, since nothing is really set in stone, and through development some things are always possible to tweak around, we can't say that this will 100% remain this way. However we can say that most likely it will.
I'd tell you my story, but then I'd have to kill you.
So i just dropped in to phrase Oxfurd for his amazing community engagement. Well done!
For now, since this is Alpha, there is only one seerver.
Devs said if game performace would be good for everyone there will be only one server on release as well, which makes sense, since if performance is good, its better that all community plays together.
However they also said if performance would be lacking, they will introduce extra localized server(s).
As testing population grows towards beta, and towards release, things will become more clear.
I belive each house should have all the options regardless of where ot is. I dont see this as solo vs group issue. Even if city has tools and npcs that players can freely acess, people still like to have everything they want in one place.
Housing us a big part of mmos that support it, and limiting housing in cities would be a mistake imo.
Edit: Sure cities might have less space, that can quantititively limit players but it shouldnt limit them qualitatively.
Players could easily test everything at once but devs cant.
Devs need to focus on one thing at a time, to make each thing work as well as it can. If they did everything simultaneously, it would all end up mumbo jumbo.
Development wise, game is progressing at a nice pace. New mechanics are constantly developed and tested.
Game promotion isnt full blown yet. Its steady through streamers, spotlights and discord. I guess bigger promotion will start later when game is in beta / closer to release.
This is why it can appear things are not going fast if you are not an active follower and in touch with community.
The whole point is that game is sandbox and players will set their own rules.
If someone wants to accept everyone and their mother, even if they stabbed him in the back 5 timesby leaving, there is no reason why he wouldnt have an option to accept them and get stabbed again.
If someone will set a price for rejoining the city he should be able too.
Maybe someone will setsome other random conditions.
Point is in sandbox you shoulnt interfere with players possibilities unless its some unintended mechanic exploit used to gain advantage / grief people with it etc.
I would personaly set an increasing rejoining fee to leavers that rises every time you repeatedly leave and want to rejoin. But thats just me.
About normal mobs being too easy to kill, I guess thats expected. But it's as it should be. The most random mobs will be easy targets that you kill for skins etc.
However, game will feature more dangerous areas wheere more difficult mobs will reside, and they will provide a challenge even with better gear. And there there will be bosses, that will be even harder and not for solo players to hunt down.
I don't know what "class" will be most eficeint for solo play, it depends what build you will have, what you seek (PvP, PvE) and many other factors.
I can only say that group play will require all classes, everyone will be needed.
So I guess the long story short is, play what you enjoy playing. You will surely bee needed in groups regardless of what you chose. And your solo play will be most enjoyable if you are actually playing what you enjoy.
Problem with allowing players to add absolutely anything to game (music) is that lots of trolls would deliberately add such compositions that are most disturbing and aggravating to listen, just to grief everyone aroumd them.
I guess devs could predefine hidden melodies and let players discover them usimg skills, but thats then not a player music, and evemtually everyone discovers all the tunes and have them.
Player added music would need mandazory checking for quality before its added and that takes staff control time, and time costs money. So that would need to be premium option.
EDIT: and my post needs mandatory grammar check.
City teleport with CD, and with a limitation of not being able to carry anything in bags with you could be ok.
Perhaps even in gear slots to prevent weapon transport abuse.
You can only go naked!
What I hate is coming to an AH, bidding on an item, and coming tomorrow, seeing player has canceled the post because he didnt like the amount the bid reached.
That has to be forbidden.
Once someone has placed a bit on your item, you should not have the right to cancel that post anymore.
If you don't want the risk of getting to low money, then DON'T PUT TOO LOW STARTING BID !
Some city information on maps would be nice.
But I would personaly like the most if you only got this information after discovering the city, and further infomation about city only after gaining knowledge about the city.
City name, after discovering city.
City details, after gaining more knowledge about the city, through further effort.
After this, that info (what ever you got) is shown on map for you.
It clearly says "All previous EXTRA rewards". Tokens aren't in "extra" section.
Im feeling a <Naked RP guild> will have the best time!
Well WOW is kinda finished game, with decades of updates.
Fractured is unfinished and in alpha testing. How could you even compare those 2 at this moment?
And hopefully when some players do "upkeepstuff" for the city, other citisens actually have use of gather materials for example (Others can use the meat that upkeepers gathered), and not just those upkeep materials getting "consumed by NPC" and vanishing.
@Kralith said in KP for City Skills:
But there should be some way to suspend that for a single citizen, because of excused absence (like vacation).
Not sure if such micromanagement would grow tedious on city leader later on in retail, if city will become heavily populated. (and city leader had to micromanage this for every single citizen)
Perhaps instead, every citizen could on it's own, get ability to freeze his citizenship on his own (if hes going on vacation or similar) where his city benefits would freeze, but also his taxes.
