      As long as we are realistic and too fat characters will not be able to pass through all the doors (cave entrances). 😛

      I hope so, the game has player collision, I will make a fat old tank to block cave entrances on purpose 😛

      @finland thx, got a question about the "no kick" option. That still means the guildmember can't permanently stay on Aboreus, right? So you don't kick him, but you would have a guildmember that permanently lives on Syndesia, and only temporary can go back to Aboreus? And if that guildmember goes further down the karma train, you end up with an Abomenation on Tartaros that is still in your guild?

      I think it should stay as it is, and if you want to play on another planet you should go through a transformation like the angel/abomination. So for humans to go to Tartaros they transform into zombie/necromancer/vampire and for a human to go to Aboreus they transform into some kind of warewolf/spirit/fairy. Whole guilds can walk this path.

      There should also be a timer before you get guildkick if your aligments change. Ppl will do stupid things, like offerings at the wrong shrine etc. An instant guildkick can be disruptive for guilds. Give ppl a timer of a few days to correct their choice/mistake, before they are automaticly removed from guilds.

      Absolutely it's possible. I just think it's a thoroughly terrible idea

      What is the terrible difference between fighting from any direction and it doesn't matter, or the same fighting, but from a certain direction, the backside, you get extra dmg?

      @jetah I agree that it doesn't go well with a sandbox. Maybe the basic guilds should have it like they described, but guilds can unlock the abilities to add other races or alignments through devine quests, big ones that are a guild effort, like making a shrine to a specific god in your guild settlement.

      @gothix nope it works perfectly fine for rangers. If the game is balanced melee will have gapclosers. If they use gapclosers on rangers, rangers need to cc and make distance again. Goes like that in most games, right? But now you move away in certain direction, but not too far because then you have less time to shoot in the back 😉

      I know, I played this way vs assassins and they where a pain to deal with. Right now assassins have their full potential from withever direction they attack you. I say limit that to the backside. The character movement is mouseclick, so one mouseclick and your character has turned around 180 degrees, while the assassin has to walk around you, because of player collision, to get his max damage. It's just a matter of balance. I say let ppl only do maximum damage from the back, that way only the ppl who manage to spent most time at the rear or back of the oponent do the most dmg, and are therefore the better players.

      You can also balance assassins to have weapons that are better for penetrating heavy armor and weapons that are more efffective at slicing up clothies. Make it more situational.

    • Suggestion for combat

      After seeing the first gameplay video I made a suggestion to add a sprint ability to the game linked to endurence bar or energy bar. Here is the tread about sprint: https://forum.fracturedmmo.com/topic/1686/gameplay-suggestion-after-seeing-vid?page=1

      Now that player collision is confirmed in the latest Q&A I would like to suggest to add to combat that you do increased dmg if you attack someone from the back (and little increased dmg if you attack from the rear).

      If you cc someone then to get the most out of the cc you would prefer to move around your target (player collision prefent to to move through your target) to get max damage. To get there quick you probably use sprint to get there asap.

      This will add more skill to the gameplay.

      I love it that this game has player collision. Tanks can actually block ppl trying to get into your settlement for example. I've played Age of Conan wich had player collision. You still have large groups like 100+. But if you make maps so that there are plenty of bottlenecks on the landscape you can have fun laying ambush, block the large groups and nuke them. So it won't be zerging like in Aion, Terra and other theme park shit.

      Aging characters might be a big feature for a small studio, but maybe add the possibility to make old and/or fat characters. To few games have that possibility, while it is fun to watch ingame. Some have a really extended character creation, but all characters are elvish looking 20year old professional foto models or something.

      Reading through the replies here it seems some might expect that among evil aligned ppl there will be a shortage of healers and a abundance of ambush ppl and that might be a problem for evil aligned ppl in general.

      I'm just saying that won't be a problem. Among those that want to take part in sieges or raids there is always to will to switch to support/heal if needed. Even if they prefer to be high dps or kill stealers.
