Well in a broader sense race-specific crafting and/or recipes can work but there's a lot of effort there making sure everyone is happy, that being said asymmetry does games good imo, it even is a reason why this game caught eye with the three planet system, so discrepancies between races can lead to some good gameplay situations no doubt about that.

That's why I thought of the other races too before making this tread, because that was expected to be the first respons

Are you sure you aren't missing the letter "L" in your forumname?

Albion is grind for xp to lvl up, mostly red/black dungeons and instanced expedition dungeons
Fractured is exploring for knowledge to develop your character horizontaly instead of lvling up. Like a MOBA a veteran player has more options to tune their character then a new player. But their power is almost the same.

In Albion there is a powergap between tiers of gear. In Fractured different gear is situational instead of simply more powerfull.

Main difference to me.

Sounds fair, but demons can't craft bronze and iron gear then? That would be a shame tbh...

With all the releases in the last decade it's always wait and see if they can deliver. Agree! But I've been following this game for months now and it looks like one of the best idea's I've seen in years. Yes a new character has a chance to defeat a veteran (build and gear is situational). It's not like in BDO where all your attacks miss because your target has higher tier gear then you.

They also have a solid and transparent plan, unlike Bless Online for example where I keep checking the small letters for something like "if you buy our game we will totaly screw you over"

I would be surprised if alpha was limited. More likely a limited Early Bird pack with alpha and an unlimited Founders Pack with alpha.

If they get way more testers then anticipated then can just add extra SpatiosOS server, right?

If you kill a human - you can collect bones and make a bone armor.
If you kill a beast man - you can collect fur and paws and make a shamanic style furry armor.
If you kill a demon - you can collect his blood and shadow (by using magic) and create a shadowy armor with blood permanently dripping from it.

1. This could be done by any race.
2. It could OPTIONALLY influence your karma (or not).

But does it fit the lore if a human starts collecting bones from other human? It could perfectly fit in devine quests from the god Babilis (the demon planet god).

You should also be able to collect bones from beastman.

The shadowarmor would be awesome. It should have a big drawback, otherwise every rogue pker would run around with it. Maybe stealth wouldn't fully work because you could follow the blood drips, but the shadow armor would make you dodge more attacks.

Could you imagine a full set of Finland gear! I’d bet it sell for a bit too!

Or a stuffed one in your home next to your chair. Something like this below. Can you image taking an SS of the inside of your crafted house, with your character sitting in a chair and in the SS you hold your mouse over the stuffed Beastman and you see his name?

@kellewic you might be onto something. Maybe Beastman can eat in their primal form to get food buffs quickly instead of crafting gear. Both would be fine too I think, more fun for everyone

That would be very cool yeah, they deserve to be displayed like that

Would also make a catchy add for the game: "Play as an evil aligned demon and craft gear from the bodies of other players and carve their names in the bones for everyone to see!"

That would defenetly draw attention of alot of ppl hehe

@finland yeah Syndesia will be main trade planet, so makes sence they buy it from other planets.
