@Razvan Agreed, but only if speed buff is significant. CD will surely also play role. But "good" furry will probably not gank (at least not good guys). Bad furries (Abominations) will have their shapeshift abilities changed, so probably only passive speed change will remain. However good point
Anyway pve guy would still not have a chance against PvP guy in PvP equip and PvP ability setup. Imo if ganker wants to gank, he will gank.

Who says you cant enchant your physical damage weapon with fire damage buff? And why couldn´t spells cause physical damage? This one seems very physical to me
I´ve already asked on that matter (spells with different non magical weapon types - physical, bleeding etc.), answer still on the way
... also I wanted to point on fact that such annoyance will only be experienced in PvE, but then i remembered immunity auras are making it into PvP as well with same effect -_- -

- tanks
- PvErs
... and PvPers, but only if there will be more abilities like Blight, but it would still take ages to deplete Health faster than Endurance.

@Razvan Devs stated each form will have different move speed in beast form. My bet is Cat + Deer will run like a wind (sprinters, Cat will even have highest DEX from whole game which increases move speed and deer is said to have "faster move speed" as ability), Wolf will be slower (his tactic is to exhaust his prey, not outrun it) and I wouldn´t be surprised to see a Bear run even slower that human (big bad mean, but fatso)

Increasing your endurance to 2k will reduce your shown hp to 8k, as the 500 hp is moved over to endurance.
Does it really work this way? If i enchant piece of equipment with +endurance i lower my health? Seems weird.
how does life effecting more then endurance ? in all the tests, it was a lot more important to got the endurance and life, when life got 1 then u just go to the fireplace. At least for me, i couldn't care if i had 200 or 2000 HP.
So far Health seems like 100% PvE ability aka totally unnecessary as long as you can rest. Only usage would probably be for tanks in long fight (Endurance can be restored with bandages or spells, but health keeps going down so if you dont have enough, you wont survive prolonged fights). As you write especially in PvP you need to survive first combo wave of nukes so ofc Endurance >>>>> Health as there is nothing to heal once youre Unconscious and one can go down with literally full Health
. All CON offers is fortify saves and some resists against few damage types .... in game that offers complete immunities to those damage types.
At least CON now gives some endurance as well

z uvítacího příspěvku nebylo jasné z jaké hry přestupuješ a uvádíš, že jsi skeptický, ale aby taky ne, zatím je to alfa a změnit se může dost.
Podle všeho se Fractured snaží být kombinací Ultimy online, Albion online a MOBA hry s prvky ovlivňování prostředí jako z Diviny: Original sin. Nevím kolik z toho se tam nakonec dostane, ale zatím se to rýsuje slušně.Jinak vítej.

considering the fact you can get all the bonuses from attributes on equipment (you can do CON and get melee damage + armour from items or go STR and get resists same way) the difference will probably be mainly in Abilities dependant on attribute ----> STR will probably offer more offensive oriented ones, CON more defensive abilities.

yep, I know. The shapeshift ability could be on big CD and invulnerability window would be short so very skill dependant, but was just asking (I still compare Fractured to MOBAs as both should share sim,ilar gameplay
)
Shapeshift should imo be on little longer CD so one cannot abuse such thing (like escaping abilities of deer kin - no matter what it will be in final version of the game, it´s basically free teleport or frenzy not taking ability slot). Will shapeshifting be chanelled ability? Hope one will not switch into beats mode in blink of the eye.

@Razvan Truth, but CD on weapon swap is still unknown, right ? Could also be abused for example with shield.
How about some short time (like 1 second) of disarm on weapon swap? In reality you also dont instantly switch weapons, you have to unsheath your weapon and sheath the one you´re wielding. -

@Razvan Some abilities are already tied to weapons ("only blunt/sharp" - for example Bash which requires blunt weapon and even has CC), this is nearly the same ... some abilities would imo welcome this approach (can you do Concussive strike dagger? seems weird if you can)... just specialise abilities little more so damaging abilities are only usable with damaging weapons, CC heavy abilities only with maces as you write.
I´d also welcome some middle way - medium weapons that can use most abilities, but will not have access to anything with hard CC (stuns on blunt only) so maybe soft CC (slows and such), also damage wouldn´t be nearly as bis as with "damaging weapons"(maybe give axes some kind of passive bonus to crits or something, but dont let them have stun abilities).
Or limit enchanting possibilities with weapons: blunt - only defensive, accuracy and CC enchants, axes only offensive - crit chance + crit damage + attck speed. Mediums would get anything, but in smaller numbers....could also be done by altering every ability, so the ability would behave differently depending on weapon (more damage + aoe with sharp, more cc with blunt), but thats too much work and imo it´s fine some abilities can only be used with particular weapons.
This way you can also tell what the enemy is capable of doing before engaging them.
agreed, super important in game without classes and limitations, "you are what you wear" was among few things Albion did right

Just noticed one can have more abilities if beastkin race is picked (from wiki):
For primal form you get button outside your standard 8 Abilities which allows you to transform without consuming one slot for it.
Imo it´s fair, demons have their racial passives that don´t occupy any slot. But is it still valid, or was it changed in some of the update ?
Also will shapeshift give you some kind of immunity like in mobas (dota for example - Lone druid gets short window of invulnerablity while shifting form)...probably not, right
And will the cooldown be rather short or "once during fight" long?

I hope no ability will be OP on its own, this would be failed game balance. Combos can however never be balanced (imagine character in DOTA with 4 ultimate abilities) and my bet is meta builds will pwn. Some ability combinations sure will be better than another no matter how hard the devs will balance them, because ability might suck solo but in proper combo setup it will be unstoppable.
Also melee weapons do aoe damage on their own, don´t they (aoe swings with 1h slashing / blunt weapons and piercing attack damaging enemies even behind primary target - spear etc.), seems like all melees need is survivability, gap closers and some crits (if spells cant crit, melees have quite the advantage).
why instantly assume a CD reset is every hit. it could be a 1-10 minute timer on it before it activates. there are passive skills in games that can only trigger once every x duration
That´s nice idea - ability that would reset your CD of failed spell ... or at least reduce it Wouldn´t be too OP as it would take 1 valuable slot thus reducing your nuking potential and would go off only once in X seconds just like Shield block for example.

Didn´t know STR 20 is neccessary for 2h weapons or massive weapons, never even seen such category mentioned, is there any link please? Didn´t know about Constitution giving Endurace either, must have been some ninja update
Also important to mention to Your subs: not only one has to go over 20 in attribute, but that 20 has to be natural - aka starting attribute + talents (18+2 / 19+1) or straight 20/21 due to race.

@Gothix perception might not be necessary, it offers you Accuracy, Crit damage and Crit chance so unless you specialise to do damage with your staff, you only use accuracy (if spells really cant crit). Then its better to put those precious stats elsewhere and get accuracy via enchants or abilities (like Inspire - 1PER gives you 15 Accuracy, with Inspire 1CHA gives you 10 accuracy but also a lot of saves + also LUCK which increases damage, chance to pierce saves and buffs your own saves). PER seems to me like melee/bow only stat and even then only if you go crit route (so basically pvp only stat) - warfare skills often dont even need accuracy to land hit.
