can the forum be the main source of game knowledge and not discord?

hi dear devs, its seems a new piece of information about FF was told on discord, and not on forum.
this shouldn't be so, most people use the forum and not discord.and on side note its really demoralizing to see that very long and expected features such FF just cast a side... some here from way before the kickstarter started, and we payed to see your vision come to life, so please try it before make such a big change like no FF.

Outside of the dev team providing updates from discord, to the forums is there something we can do as a community to assist our fellow community members? I’m on discord often. What information was missed that we could of posted for the forum only people?
-
@Savitr it seems to be on the topic of friendly fire
@grofire as in every kickstarter project expect many big changes of ideas which don't work out in or with the game systems in some sorts
-
Would posting every question, and the answer be helpful?
-
@Shivashanti well i hope things will be tested before getting scrap... and well the core ideas shouldn't be changed... to me the FF idea, is as important as horizontal progress, you do not expect this things to be changed.
@Savitr not all question need to both on forum and on discord, but all new information do need to be.

sounds like a job for a community manager!

@grofire Now, I have not been following Fractrued since Kickstarter, but from my standpoint apart from a (or multiple) discussion Thread(s) about FF, I never though something like FF to be a "core feature" of Fractured, nor did I ever think there was an official take on it being on everywhere every time?. That said, even if it was, changes to the game are to be expected.
Is not this how it still is, or did I miss something?...

All MMOs pass through significant changes from the moment development started until they are released.
Everyone expecting otherwise is bound to get disappointed.
